Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Yeah, the inconsistencies are what really make it hard to swallow. In and of itself it looks interesting, and the Fox Engine is exciting, but it's really WTF when you try to connect to everything else.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Yeah the story in V really doesn't make much sense when you look at the rest of the timeline, it's going to be a weird path from point A (MGS V) to B (MG1).

If we ever get there could be another useless story In between.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I'm still confused over the whole Ground Zeros/Phantom Pain thing. One minute they're different games, then they're the same game. I'm guessing they are just two parts of the same game now? I haven't kept up as well as I should, but damn Kojima is super confusing these days.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Heard about these games for what, over a year now? Still no clue if it's one game or two. Like wtf?

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Honestly could be the worst Mgs or the best never know .

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I just have difficulty swallowing that Ocelot is middle aged now almost and it isn't Patric Zimmerman voicing him...

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

If it is a reboot, then this time around don't accelerate Solid's aging. However, if you do, give the poor man a beard this time. Sorry, I'm not a huge fan of Old Snake's mustache. He's badass still, because he's an old man kicking ***.

Oh god no.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

The problem is Ocelot was never sharing his likeness with a younger clone for himself :lol no sense in changing his voice now. At his age now, it needs to be Zimmerman. But control freak Kojima has to keep changing everything that made people like MGS in the first place.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Troy Baker, I personally think he’s doing a good job from what I have heard so far.

Troy Baker who did Joel in The Last of Us. I like Baker, but it doesn't sound right to me.

Oh okay. Troy Baker has a pretty big range. I haven't heard his portrayal yet. But at least it's in capable hands.
