Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

It looked amazing and the graphics looked twice as good as MGR. We will never see it, although Platinum still did do a good job.

I'm still hoping that we'll at least see a digital comic of it sometime in the future. Man, I'd even settle for a novel :monkey2

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I gave up on MGS novels/fanfic when I read one that went on about Snake hating heavy metal because it reminded him of the chaos of warfare, while he preferred rap music most of all.

No. No way.

I used to write MGS fanfics... :pow

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I'm replaying MGS3 after several, several years. Now as an adult and now that it's in HD, I can now appreciate it with more finesse. Still a great game and my favorite for a reason.

I definitely understand why it can be a favorite, it was excellent storytelling and a great change up from urban environments.

:exactly:

Loved the dynamic between Big Boss and The Boss. Plus, Young Ocelot.

What's your favorite again?

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Already signed that when it first went up. Highly doubt it will amount to anything :dunno

Yeah. If it was anyone but Kojima, I'd think it was possible, but no matter how much I like Kojima and the stuff he creates, it's true that he's stubborn as hell.

Like I said, if anything, it's just to express your support, I guess. So thanks. :)

The graphics of Rising took a hit because KojiPro/Platinum targeted a 60fps for the final product, in which pretty much they've miraculously achieved.

Which brings my concern to MGSV, no way in heck can it run 60fps on a console, I don't think a locked 30 is possible either. That's why we need this for next gen. :(

You got that right, he's very hard headed.

MGSV will in no shape or form be what their telling us, no game is really. MGS4 originally looked better than the actual product.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I found that on another forum, it was posted by Kojima.

Boss has the mechanical arm, horn and ponytail. Damn I love Shinkawa's art style.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Awesome! What exactly did he sign? Peace Walker related? I see that peace sign :lol

That's actually not a peace sign, it's an inverted "V for Victory and the line down the middle signifies the division of FOX and XOF.
