I think it does also. Once you familiarize yourself with the map and controls the game plays amazing.

Anyone else hop into one of the AA turrets and just start mowing down marines? Pretty quick way to clear the map and freely collect all the patches! The environment is surprisingly destructible with the right weapons. :clap

Yup, I use that or the tank to clear enemies out.

I've yet to drive one of the tanks so far, but I can't wait.

Got me thinking what kinds of vehicles we'll be able to drive in TPP. Or the possibility of aircraft/watercraft. Making an escape via hovercraft sounds pretty appealing right about now.

I hope you can call in chopper support when alerted in TPP. I know this game there isn’t any of that because it’s a “solo” mission.

Peace walker had it,so TPP will probably have it too in certain missions.

Nice choice!

Bit of a noob question but how do you use the chopper to extract and drop off at another location?
Only played it once and couldn't see how you did it.

If you're playing on ps4, press the options button, the click L2 for navigation, go down to where you see a small helicopter, click it, then it should bring you to the map where you can select where you want to send the chopper.

During the first 10 minutes the marines spotted me all the time :lol after that everything went perfect

Btw I completed 4 more side missions, I still find myself having a hard time getting used to the gameplay mechanics and enemy a.i. The lack of a tutorial is the biggest flaw of all- I remember practicing my moves the first time I was playing and BAM a spotlight shone on me! Which one is roll? Why crouch is X? How do get into first person view? Why are there only 6 tranq bullets and how do I get more? Why is headshots a pain to execute?

While I've certainly have gotten better, I can easily see how this would frustrate new players. This is by far the hardest leaning curve I've ever came across in a game, more so than Splinter Cell.

On the plus side, it's obvious that the wealth of options and fidelity given to you as a player is incredible.

DAMN

And I only needed 10 minutes to figure it all out :lol It felt very natural for me

Also:

My favourite moments of the Metal Gear Saga are too many :lol I don't feel like posting everything, but one of my favourites is the end of MGS3, the fight with the Boss and the fight with Ocelot on the plane :drool brilliant

I loved every boss battle in MGS1

Something I can't say about the rest

But probably was most taken aback by REX. The first time was too intense for my little mind
