Also in the game informer timeline, it's shows TPP takes place from 1984 to ?. In assuming that means they didn't want to spoil what year the game will end.

Kojima alredy confirmed that only Big boss will be playable right? We won't be able to play as the Outer Heaven soldiers? I don't mind but I was hoping we could. I know everyone is thinking if Solid will show up at the end of the game, but I am more excited to see Liquid, we don't know much about his past if this game has a long timeline then we'll see him growing up.

Btw the things I've heard about Quiet and Chico are really disturbing :lol

By the way the David Hayter Interview is up on iTunes for anyone that wants to listen.

I think maybe multiplayer will be our only chance, but who knows, it’s been confirmed we can visit our friends different OH bases, which makes me think they will be customizable.

Hayter’s 2 favorite Metal Gear games are MGS3 and 4, MGS2 he dislikes the most. He also said he loves Big Boss’ world which is why he enjoyed MGS3 so much.

He didn’t finish Peace Walker, even though he claims he loved the story :lol

Im really looking forward to Liquid being a character here. Id like to see a scene of him imitating Miller, teasing him, as a wink to MGS1
I highly doubt Solid will be a character beyond a small cameo. That goes double for a Hayter appearance, unless its a flash forward/after credit scene with him saying "his is Snake, commencing operation Intrude"

My jaw literally dropped when i heard some of those tapes.

Pazs rape, and her dr.strangelove lesbian story :thud:
*Spoiler over*

Spoiler tag didn't work on your original post

I must say, in this Hayter interview, he seems to be doing a decent Snake voice still. It doesn’t sound as gravely as the MGS4 and PW voice.

Its getting there now, you can hear in his tone he’s starting to answer somethings sarcastically. He said he would come back to the franchise if asked.

Said he feels horrible about being replaced

He doesn’t like the idea of anyone else playing the role he originated.

Said he won’t play GZ or TPP because someone else is doing the voice would be too painful for him to listen to

Said he won’t do a fan dub, because it would be “pathetic”, said he won’t take money from fans, and he too busy to do it

Listening to this interview Hayter seems to have quite an ego.

It's alright, professional ego, nothing closer to that of Kojima I assume though.

I don’t know :lol

He seems to take some credit for things he shouldn’t, he’s acting pretty unprofessional with some of the things he’s saying.

He said Wolves should be coming out around August.

A horror movie he stars in as Mafia psychopath

Interview was pretty boring, not much new information, I don’t know why fans seem to ask questions they can just google the answers to :slap

To sum everything up, he is working on a few movies, and TV projects, and he still bitter about being replaced as Snake, nothing new.

I didnt sense the ego at all. He seemed very humble. Still abut sore about Snake, which is understandable but he said he was glad it was a great actor to replace him and he would still come back.

He replicated his MGS1 Snake voice flawlessly. So its good to know hes still got it!

I thought he did, in how he said he “originated” the character, and taking credit for making Snake the way he was in MGS1 when he obviously couldn’t have, because the character was written that way. He was giving some backhanded compliments as well, and just in his tone, when he was speaking on his writing compared to if he wrote Metal Gear. He also said something on voice acting in the MGS series compared to acting in movies but I can’t remember what he said, but he made it seem as if he pioneered serious voice acting within video games.

I find most of it to be subliminal, but I usually catch it, he’s always been like that.
