Just completed Ja Mais Vu. Gotta say it was quite boring. Only good thing about it is the cool looking Snatcher skeleton, music and Raiden skin.
Plus it didn't have as many unlockables/replay ability of DeJaVu

Jack Bauer fans- IGN just awarded a 9.0 to 24's premiere, spoiler free somehow. Not that IGN awards mean anything, but still. I personally can't wait for this.

Couldn't find the thread so I just posted this here. It's the MGS thread after all.

Sorry for derailing the thread..... Lol, not really.

Not a fan of the show, but I’m happy for Kiefer, he seems to be doing a lot these days.

You should def. give it a watch man, it's pretty good.

The first seasons might have not aged all that well, but it's definitely worth watching.

It's a shame that fran, Jackhepburn, and I are the only guys in this thread who have intently watched 24 :lol. I'd expect more MGS fans to be into the series, because it's the closest thing to MGS that has ever aired on TV - in terms of its intrinsic plots and conspiracies.

In any case, I can't wait for Monday! In anticipation for the new season, I bought the bootleg Subway 24 Hours figure (for the clothes), and a new Enterbay RM-5 body, so I can upgrade my Enterbay Bauer figure.

I think thats what it is, I got up to the end of season 2 when it was on Netflix, and it did feel a bit dated. After listening to why a lot of the fans enjoy the show, I think I was taking it a bit too seriously when I should have just sat down and enjoyed the badassery of Jack Bauer. I’m probably going to give it another try.

It truly is what MGS or even Splinter Cell would look as a TV show. All of the plot surprises, double agents, etc. Even the silliness.

I really hope Belrouse (Marwan's son) comes back as some sort of super villain.

Yeah, don't take it too seriously, it'll suck the fun out of it, lol. If you go expecting the perfection that, say, HBO's The Wire was, you'll be disappointed.

Thats exactly that happened, I’m a huge Sorpranos/Wire fan, I’m definitely going to give the show another shot.

I really hope that Tony makes a comeback somehow...
instead of spending his life in a super-max prison.

I've been catching up on my 24 now. I still think the 1st two seasons were great but most seasons after changed direction so often that it became tedious.
First it's a terrorist threat, then it's a bomb, then it's toxic gas, then it's an assassination all in one season. It got old

I was just reposing my RM-5 Subway/Enerbay Bauer. So pumped for the show! You're right about it being the closest thing to MGS on tv, launching of nukes, main character is 'Jack', being pawns of america and being shown as the 'badguy' etc etc.

Everyone should watch 24!

Seasons 2, 4, 6 and 8 are about nukes. So even numbered entries are all nuke related :lol

Heck yeah! :rock I'd say that the similarities to MGS are kind of shocking in some ways. Season 7 even dealt with the problem of PMCs.

Enough cannot be said about how awesome this show is, and I can't wait for the two-hour premier tomorrow. In any case, you guys can feel free to check out the 24 thread I made in the movie section (spoilers are welcomed for discussion) :duff

It's just the dynamics of the show. 24 is like a high-octane, adrenaline-pumping, thrill-ride. Jack Bauer never gets a moment's rest. He doesn't even have time to pee. But, I'd say that regardless of the pace of the seasons, the plot lines are very coherent, for the most part.

In MGSGZ is there any point looking after and erasing those MG-related tags or markings in the mission Jamais vu/deja vu? I'm not sure if I got all of them, but also don't really know if there is any point trying to find them anyways.
