Ah, c'mon. Just how large can the map get anyway? ..<clicks link>

JESUS.

When Kojima said that there was going to be a big map, I thought he meant "big". But... oh s**t, that's a big map. No one's going to be able to finish this :rotfl.

The size doesn't impress me. If its just massive empty space then it's useless. If its packed like previous metalGear games or Arkham City, then wowzers!

No kidding. It looks like KojiPro tried to recreate the entire map of Afghanistan :slap. There's no way that there's going to be things to do in all of that space.

bit of gameplay of the Phantom Pain

I'm at least glad cardboard boxes are back. And hiding in trash containers (which, oddly enough, was a missing feature in Ground Zeroes).

This seems GTA V big.

I haven't actually finished the game, but it seems huge.

That looked great, Thank you Lord Kojima

That actually looks really good. This is probably the game I am most excited for so far. Has it been confirmed that it is coming out 2015?

This is definitely my most anticipated game of 2015, only game I can see beating this is Uncharted 4, I don’t know if thats coming in 2015 though.

Koji is going to think he's invented a dead sandbox map, but R* has long since been known for that :lol

He probably forgot to pick up his copy of GTA V :lol. I still haven't played the game, but I remember the size comparison of the previous GTA titles, and the map was HUGE.

The GTA V online can be fun, but I find myself bored most of the time. And the single player forget about it, that map can be 5x bigger and it would be just as boring.

I was disappointed with GTA V, the single player mainly. The missions just felt boring to me. The multiplayer is fun if you play with a bunch of your friends.

Even though I don’t care much for it, glad to see the box return for the “hardcore” fans.

Nice to see climbing in and out of dumpsters returning. Less than two minutes of gameplay right there really shows how much bigger this game is than Ground Zeroes.

I think the biggest problem with online is, EVERYONE has this shoot first mentality. If any player is near one of these guys, they immediately try to kill them.

I thought the single player was lackluster as hell, the game made the money but it didn't deliver on expectations at all. The map is big, but that's it.

That sounds retarded. Being a sandbox title, I thought people would want to join up and form teams or whatever else.

I need to pick this up so we can play some co-op :lol.

Yup, thats why its fun to play with a big group of friends, I only got to do that one time, it was pretty fun. Single player I definitely agree with you on. I’m excited to see what R* does with the next Red Dead.

I replayed the hell out of RDR, I had no desire to redo SP with V in the least. Trevor was fun, but I couldn't bother with it again.

I was really hoping they would do a Undead Nightmare style DLC with V.

Same here, I beat RDR five times, its in my top 10 greatest games of all time. Hell, just going to find treasure, or new costumes was a lot more fun than most of the missions in GTAV. That ending tho!

RDR didn't feel like a dead world to me, R* nailed that map. There was so much to do outside of the main missions. I thought hunting up near the snowy mountains for Grizzly Bear was ****ing awesome.

GTA didn't translate well to next gen, it's getting monotonous since they really didn't introduce anything new with V aside from a few new quirks. I honestly think as a whole San Andreas was much better.

Yea, San Andreas is the best game in the series. They added a lot of new crazy features in that game, as well as some awesome cheat codes and easter eggs, but the story itself and the characters remained interesting. The characters in GTAV were okay, but I didn’t really connect with any of them because of all the characters switching. Technically, GTAV is a masterpiece, but it just wasn’t fun, to me at least.

Hunting Big Foot in the Undead expansion pack was great, and the horde mode-like Multiplayer was pretty fun too. I hope Red Dead 2 has a likable protagonist, and only one protagonist.

Sorry for all the GTA talk people!

RDR was the last R* game I trully liked and loved

I used to hunt Buffalos or Bisons whatever, I remember getting that sad achievement/trophy when you kill them all ...
"Manifest Destiny"

Thats it, I'm gonna play it again, I totally forgot I had that game :lol

I remember the first time I got trolled by a cougar, when I was just riding a horse. It killed the horse, went into hiding, and then jumped out and killed John. It was probably the single most amazing feat of AI I've seen in a video game :lol.

Game presentation and new trailer at E3!

I’m in heaven!

Also things that I noticed:
>Phantom Cigar can be equipped
>A new tranq gun
>Diamond Dog logo over the weapon HUD

I'll be damned, wow. That's crazy.

Next thing you know, MGS V will have camo snipers who can sneak up on you and ****.

wow thats crazy, I've been killed by those things a couple of times, the animals in that game are well done. I remember my first encounter with the Grizzlies, the first time I found one.. I was lucky to kill it, I turn around and two more were coming at me :lol
