Yeah, but he's lost everything he's ever cared about. Plus isn't this supposed to be the game where we see Big Boss transition into the villain?

No prob guys, this game is looking really awesome so far.

I'm actually heading out to buy myself an iPad today. Need it for work and school.

Get "République" once you do. It's a great stealth game that is free for now (usually $4.99) and each chapter is also 5 bucks. Jennifer hale as well as David Hayter provide the voice work. It runs truly amazing on an IPad Air.

You won't be sorry.

Gasp told me about that game, Hayter seems to be doing an awesome Snake like voice from one if the clips I've seen.

That's for the recommendation, definitely going to check it out.

**** I missed the english version. :gah:

Everything looks great so far!

Wth with that rex though? It's like a weird mixture of Rex and PW, I wanted to see the D.

The feelings I got from watching it twice (J & E ver.) are boredom and annoyance (from the reuse of REX)
What a let down.

Now I see why BB has a prosthetic arm :lol (apart from ability to do a rocket punch)

That's just hilarious! :rotfl

And Konami's PR is in full force on the net when it comes to this trailer. They actually beaten the Internet. I've underestimated them.

Or maybe most of us actually just enjoyed the trailer...

Sure people did, I see all the over the top fan boys commenting on Facebook/Youtube... but make no mention of how ****ing stupid it is that REX is being recycled... again.

Same old, same old from the kidz on Facebook and YouTube.

Oddly enough, I was watching Heavy Metal last night (for the first time), and this trailer was just along the lines of an acid trip music video :rotfl.

Would that make you feel better though?

You didn't like it fine, but I'm not going around saying things like "everyone who hates this trailer is a Kojima hater who hates everything in life".

In my opinion, that was the best video game trailer of the year.

Even if they only like the game because they're fanboys, who's that hurting?

AC2-BH is some of the best storytelling in recent gaming, the way it ties into AC and even in ACR.... even despite it being a poor installment it was a great way to finish the story
ACR was pretty boring and so slow paced honestly. AC2-BH does have fantastic storytelling though, no way t deny this.

MGS Fanboys are pretty hilarious at times, if not only for how pathetic and desperate their arguments are...and how they miss the point entirely :lol

Oh without a doubt, on all your points :lol

This happens all the time there's a new MGS video. Everything gets praised enmasse from the usual sites where kids congregate, without any kind of informal critique.

In any case, does anyone have any theories on what's going on with Foxhound? There hasn't been any mention of it, whatsoever. I wonder why "Diamond Dogs" even has to exist in the first place...

Why should we criticize the trailer? Unless the trailer is ****ing awful I really don't care about the artistic value of a trailer at all, nor should anybody, besides it's not like we're actually criticizing the trailer, we're criticizing the game based on the trailer, which is not being insightful, nor a sign of not jumping on the bandwagon it's just making conjectures.

People/fanboys/haters use the people as an accolade or as complaint, depending on their point of view, such as "that movie/game is a classic for a reason, people loved it" or "People love that game/movie, it's overrated, sheeps".

It's delusional to think the entirety of individuals in the masses are mindless when it comes to liking something you dislike, it's a method to reassure yourself into your own opinion, nothing more.

It's just as easy to jump into the hate bandwagon as it is to jump into the hype one.

Point being, I'm not against the negative opinions at all, but I'm annoyed by the lingering air or pretension of the negative opinions being somehow higher/better cemented than the positive ones.

Having said that, the new trailer hinted at almost everything I'm expecting from the storyline, the highlight being BigBoss shown loosing it, you can feel he's changed throughout the trailer.

People tearing apart the trailer are kidding themselves, I remember MGS2 trailers being awful, not even showing Raiden, it was shameless misleading advertising and "people" think this is bad.....

If someone likes it I don't have any problem with that. But it seems the majority of MGS fans never really look at something new in series for what it truly is, and they feel compelled to just blindly praise it and never really delve into critical thinking about it and pull it apart for it's faults. I used to be that way, but ever since PW I've done a complete 180.

Repped!

Couldn’t have said it better. Everything has to be overrated or underrated these days.
