Tomorrow Kojima has something to announce, hopefully it’s a date.

Yea the AC games are okay for gameplay, but they have so much potential to write great stories, and they never do. Thats one series that seriously needs a rest.

Or just a new direction. They need to abandon the modern stuff and just tell the story of the war between the Templars and Assassins throughout the ages. But yeah, taking some time off might help the series. This every year cycle drains the creativity it seems.

I got out of AC after the second game. I loved ACII, but I couldn't get into Brotherhood at all... and the consensus is the series blows now so I got out just in time.

AC 2 is the best in the series. I thought Brotherhood was okay, 3 I never played, and 4 I couldn't finish.

The series has a lot of potential, if they stop rushing these games out annually I'm sure we can get another AC2.

I think Brotherhood was the peak for me. Everything just came together in that one. I have not played AC4 yet. And my only real interest is to play Adewale's DLC and I did enjoy the sailing from AC3. They really just need stronger narratives, and make these stories more character driven like AC2 or really all of Ezio's stories. I cared about the story then because I cared about him.

I liked the story of the first Assassin's Creed the best, but it wasn't integrated into the gameplay as well as AC2, unfortunately. I just found all the Assassin targets very interesting, and missed that in the other games. Plus, I love the aesthetic of the Crusades!

AC Black Flag was great on PS4... For abut 35 minutes. Next.

Thats how i felt, at first it was refreshing sailing the seas with your crew, then it became a chore.

I liked Brotherhood a lot, but AC2 shocked me, which is why I hold it in higher regard. AC1 was a major let down for me, so I didn’t think AC2 would be that great, but man, was I wrong. Brotherhood was good too, it pretty much expanded on everything from AC2, and I loved being able to send the brotherhood to do some assassinating for me. I never really enjoyed the story in any of the games though, even AC2, but thats just me.

If the next AC has a stronger narrative, refined combat, and more emphasis on some voice acting, I’ll be able to enjoy the series again.

Same here :duff

AC1 for me had the best story, but it could be because it was a new world, and a new game. AC2 nailed the gameplay, and Brotherhood expanded on it.

I did like in Brotherhood you got the Raiden skin, but for whatever reason I just couldn't get into it. I honestly barely even played any of it.

AC 2 is the only game I've platinumED.

True (sad) story. Very much enjoyed the hell out of that game.

AC2-BH is some of the best storytelling in recent gaming, the way it ties into AC and even in ACR.... even despite it being a poor installment it was a great way to finish the story

I came close, never got around getting it though. I think I was around 84% or so.

Oh crap, I forgot ACR existed. Add that to the list of never played, and never care to play :lol

I love alternate history stories, and beautiful scenery, but I can't appreciate it anymore, because of the repetitive gameplay, and dumb AI. They also need a character that I can care about if I'm spending so long with them, like Ezio or the Prince from Sands of Time. I think they were the same developers of the Prince of Persia games, but I could be wrong. Since so many were saying that AC4 was the jump of AC2, I was excited to play it, but after a couple hours, I couldn't do it anymore. I'm glad for those that are loving it though!

AC is now a whitewash of great game play and lackluster story and characters

It's like pulling teeth, but the dentist being a really hot, naked babe

Enough of AC though, i watched the trailer for this earlier and it ain't all that

I think it's the best trailer yet. Certainly better than any other game trailer released this year, I would love to know what other video game trailers people think compare to this.
