Hey Pturtle wtf man? I tried my best in that reply and you go and give the rep to Pliss? :impatient:

:lol

You repped me instead "These sick twisted members here kill me man." < :lol

I actually wasn’t talking about you, I found your explanation to be reasonable. I get why that bothers you, but some other members here just seem irrational. Your one of the few guys here who actually said you wouldn’t buy the game and didn’t, I can respect that. If anything you deserve rep points for that, and you don’t come in here and comment on everything. Some members are in here everyday, and complain how this thread blows and needs to be locked.

I think our beefing days are done :lol

You at least make valid points.

This is true, I outright didn't play GZ. Although I may in the future, either prior to release or when it inevitably gets bundled with TPP. I'm not actually happy about in doing that since I've never missed a MGS release, ever. I was hoping to see something that would sway me in this latest trailer but it felt like more of what was already shown, and time traveling REX didn't help it any.

As for fighting, I'm done in that department.

Naah I was only kittin' ya :lol

Yeah how do I do that? Become a premium member?

I kinda forgot :lol

There should be a tab or something somewhere that should link you to the steps in becoming one. I mean its really only worth it if you want to Rep people and sell things on here.

God i love the design of the new Metal Gear. At first glance it looked like Rex, having had a good look around it, it seems that it only has basic simularities to Rex ( very similar head, 2 legs). It looks like a nice missing link between Peace Walker and Rex. a Proto Rex, i dont think this mecha itself is going to end up being the one we fight on Shadow moses.

Loved BB covering his face in the ashes like a Drug lord would with cocain.

Same here :duff

Funny thing is, other than Metal Gear, we happen to pretty much like the same exact crap :lol

Something about this series just brings the worst out of us.

+1 to this :exactly: what I thought.

loved Carrie Boss and Tony Montana Boss.

:mwaha

Rep fail. And that's not very nice.

That made me lol :rotfl.

I think you know that statement was pretty much about you. The man who can’t stand this thread and wants it locked, yet responds to every post everyday.

And one of my three green rep bars came with your help, “For Peace” :rotfl

Why should we criticize the trailer? Unless the trailer is ****ing awful I really don't care about the artistic value of a trailer at all, nor should anybody, besides it's not like we're actually criticizing the trailer, we're criticizing the game based on the trailer, which is not being insightful, nor a sign of not jumping on the bandwagon it's just making conjectures.

People/fanboys/haters use the people as an accolade or as complaint, depending on their point of view, such as "that movie/game is a classic for a reason, people loved it" or "People love that game/movie, it's overrated, sheeps".

It's delusional to think the entirety of individuals in the masses are mindless when it comes to liking something you dislike, it's a method to reassure yourself into your own opinion, nothing more.

It's just as easy to jump into the hate bandwagon as it is to jump into the hype one.

Point being, I'm not against the negative opinions at all, but I'm annoyed by the lingering air or pretension of the negative opinions being somehow higher/better cemented than the positive ones.

Having said that, the new trailer hinted at almost everything I'm expecting from the storyline, the highlight being BigBoss shown loosing it, you can feel he's changed throughout the trailer.

People tearing apart the trailer are kidding themselves, I remember MGS2 trailers being awful, not even showing Raiden, it was shameless misleading advertising and "people" think this is bad.....

Opinions are opinions. But, lots of people give Kojima a pass, just because he's Kojima - often injecting words like "genius" to liken his work. And anything that doesn't follow that norm gets lambasted. Personally, I've been cursed out many times on Facebook and YouTube for just asking simple questions. I'd go as far as to say that a large portion of this fanbase is cult-like, because they don't like this holy grail of a series being questioned in any way, shape or form.

In regards to the trailer, it doesn't offer anything different in its presentation from last year. Everything's darker, Big Boss is becoming more violent. But, what's new? :dunno

Go to hell :lol. I love discussing MGS, but I just can't stand some personalities in this thread. You being a major one.

That reminds me, I think the only person within the industry to really even talk about Kojima's weirdness is Sessler. It's just one of those things that's never really talked about.

I read on Sessler's Twitter that he's back in E3 with Geoff Keighley and Kevin Pereira. I wonder if he's going to provide any commentary.

That's nice news, I hated him on X-Play since he played the clown character but ever since I've come to really like him and his reviews. His glowing review of TLOU sold me on it.

Your Rep saids otherwise :lol

And Sessler is adding commentary for E3.

Although I don't always agree with him, I really enjoy hearing Sessler's thoughts.

Sessler can be a little pretentious at times, but for the most part, his reviews are pretty honest. He’s one of the few reviews I trust.
