Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

The AI is completely retarded and gives up very quickly if they hear or see you in the distance.

Yeah I know, I was completely sure that I if beat the game, a Hard mode or something would unlock, but it didn't and that was disappointing.

Also, the AI's has a field of vision of like 2 feet around lol, they couldn't see you even if you were in front of them and they took like a minute to react if they did, I think Kojima either didn't have faith on the the PSP controls to give us the full hardcore experience, or he watered down the difficulty for PSP nobblers, I think it was the 1st one.

MPO didn't have the brightest AI either, but they were a little smarter than PW's, I think Kojima didn't give PSP enough credit with the controls.

I still like it though.

Those guards were legally blind :lol

IIRC in MPO the guards would put more effort into trying to find you.

Lol yup.

Yeah, PO was a little more difficult, at least to sneak, but in PW was harder to kill the opponents, that is until you had every gun maxed up, then it was a shooting range lol, PO was more balanced.

PW was overpowered, but I did appreciate that gigantic arsenal to choose from.

What the heck?! this is getting too much for my brain

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

what's that?

I meant that Phantom Pain and MGSV are one and the same. Besides, that video was meant to generate questions prior to what we know now and with the David Hayter issue, it seems most (hardcore) MGS fans are still focused on that more than what any viral marketing campaign could come up with.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

More cryptic nonsense from Kojima, and I LOVE it. I still can't wait to know the status on David Hayter, though.

I'm all for those cryptic crap tbh, but I can only indulge once we get a satisfying (or at least justified) reason of Hayter's exclusion, instead of "Oh, this is a reboot, that's why." "Now look at this pretty pretty clothing simulator, etc."

I agree, Hayter's exclusion because of a "reboot" doesn't make the least bit of sense, especially since Akio Otsuka wasn't fired as the Japanese voice actor for Snake.

Konami just seems to have it in for him. I remember the news of when they rejected his potential script for the MGS movie:

Metal Gear Solid 5 - Hayter and Kojima Trolling Us?! Is David Hayter Coming Back?!

Sorry, video won't post on this site because the Youtube code has "F-U-K" in it and it keeps censoring it. Therefore, only the link, and make sure to replace the asterisks with "F-U-K":

Link won't work:dunno

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

As I mentioned, gotta replace the three asterisks with capital letters F, U, and K in the address bar. This stupid forum censors the F U K part and breaks the link so you have to do it manually.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Just type the title in google : "Metal Gear Solid 5 - Hayter and Kojima Trolling Us?! Is David Hayter Coming Back?!"

itll be the first video up. Basically a discussion on of the David Hayter situation

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I checked it out and it is just another one of those speculation videos. I have long accepted that David Hayter is not coming back and I am not sure why people still insist on finding clues and conspiracy that is not there.

I feel the same way it's time to move on .

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

That video pointed out several valid points towards Kojima and Hayter trolling us. The fact that Hayter posted his "farewell" to MGS and Solid Snake on April 1st is a huge indicator, not to mention the other factors pointed out.

There's also the "robotic voice" being used not mentioned in the video. Some of the comments mention it's from a Microsoft text-to-speech program. Guess which text-to-speech voice is being used out of all the named voices? David.
