her ankles suck too cause they have no clicks. they just rely on paint friction. annoying since they put the new tech into the hips but took a step back on the ankles!?!?!?!! weird, just........weird.

Only problem with Fox is the colour. Meryl doesnt look that bad at all (from pics) whats her issues?

Coming to think about it your right, why did PeaceWalker have soo many variants, infact why dos PeaceWalker have so much merch??? MGS1 is by far the fan favourite, they could have original color fox or scuba snake, or they could do a 1998 varient of Snake and Fox how badass would that be!?

Now that you mentioned it! oh how i wished they included scuba gears for mgs1 snake :monkey2 interchangable head and feet perhaps? i dunno.. i just wished they have invested a lot of accessories on the mgs1 snake since mgs1 is very special for the fans and the gaming industry

All the more reason I'm gonna finish touching up the Yamato Meryl figure. I don't like the Play Arts that much, the Yamato was far more accurate with some tweaks. All I need now is to repaint her top, change her body to a seamless one and touch up the face some more. Should be done next month.

Thanks Solidus, I'm almost done with it. All I need now is a Phicen body, new boots and to dye the top. I have to say the stock paint app on the figure is one of the worst I've seen, and it's a shame because the headsculpt is quite frankly very good. I highly recommend this figure if you can find one & customize it.

Your guess is as good as mine, there is so much of the series to exploit... but Peace Walker? :dunno

Meryl doesn't have any QC issues, it's just they made her too pretty and anime looking. And her belt and drop down holster are the wrong color from the game.

Actually i think the whole series should have a more anime look. It would be more accurate to the artwork that way

@Solidus i disagree to an extent. They gave her ore current miltary styling. She looks like she came outta Afghanistan rather than Vietnam like the original!

i hated Meryl's insanely long arms on the PAK figure. The top of her arm is as long as her body. I hate the the rubber things or whatever they use for the belt and crotch region. The one on Meryl is too high and they never sit right. Not a problem just an observation

Whatever they use for the rubber belts is extremely annoying. I haven't gotten one that was in the right position out of the box. I've had the Battle Dress Snake's belt so bent out of shape and completely bent the wrong way and wrapped around his leg :slap

It annoys me the most on Snake because the left side sits higher than the right and no matter how i try to level it, it never does. Makes him look like hes leaning out with his hip :slap

It takes a lot of finesse to let the hips lay right, it's like that with all of them.

I plan on modifying the Yamato Meryl as well, make her more Hot Toys like.

The only thing to really get the Yamatos for is the clothing, the headsculpts are so bad and obsolete.

Playing peace walker, don't really like it as it's basically shoot these people move en feet to the next area, shoot these people move ten feet to the next areas and so on.

Hate that it was a PSP title and that i have to know what's going on in the game to be upto speed for MGSV

As much as I dislike it for the story, it's essential to understanding MGSV since Ground Zeroes is a direct continuation.

Lol if you shoot everyone then it's easier, the catch is to sneak in, still not the most difficult of the MGS games.
