I'm bored of this whole weird Konami situation. Why act like a bunch of idiots. We all know, stop being shady now.
Every new peace of news is negative, or non-news. I am also done
What's interesting, is that the Doctor himself isn't fake . A member from Neogaf reported that he has medical papers dating back since 2009. I also watched the news video that reported on his "head transplant" procedure, and it just so happens, that the professor who was criticizing the Doctor, is a legit faculty member from the Neurosurgery Department at Columbia University.
The point is, everyone on that medical video checks out. So, I don't believe that the proverbial rabbit hole is going deep here. I'm more inclined to think that Kojima probably attempted some kind of marketing stunt - just like with the whole Joakim Mogren incident from 2013. But, except this time, it completely backfired. The lawsuit could be the reason for why Kojima has been apparently forced into silence all of a sudden.
I could be completely wrong, but, we'll see.
No kidding. If does happen to be a massive viral campaign, there's no way they can keep this **** going till September. It's already gotten old.
Kojima has been ripping off plenty of people over the years, it's about time he takes it in the ass.
I'm not really sure what's going on here, myself. Most of the news originated from Neogaf. From what I've read, one of the users initiated a Skype video chat with the Doctor and asked him about MGS V. He said that he was aware that his likeness is being used without his permission, and he plans to sue Kojima/Kojima because of it. I'll try to post up the link later tonight, if I could find it for you.
But, yeah, the whole lawsuit thing does seem like an overreaction. If anything, it should be good publicity for this guy.
He's also a creepy guy, the picture with him and the amputated head is going to give me nightmares for a long time
I'd like to see that please.
