Kojima's already soiled on MGS3's legacy, and he probably soiled on it MORE in this game. MGS 1 and 2 have been soiled as well. Still some great games, but they don't deserve what the sequels have done story wise.

I know how much you like RPGs and Zelda, and I'm sure you'd like Witcher 3. It's really mature in its storytelling, but there's a lot of humor and good fun. In terms of tone, there's a decent balance between comedy and the very dark elements in the main storyline. And there's hundreds of side-quests with hundreds of hours of gameplay. Not to mention 16 FREE DLCs, just because the developers decided - "**** it, we're not following along with the rest of the industry, you bought our game, so we're giving you a s*** ton of content for free."

Graphically, it's one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. The environments just look stunning, the costumes and character models are amazingly well done. It's a work of art.

I actually like Solid Snake as Iroquois Pisskin the best, but that's just because I prefer military fatigues over stealth suits. I wish Hot Toys would have done the Olive drab camo for MGS3 Big Boss instead of the stealth suit because I never use that thing.

I'm getting it tomorrow, been trying to get the steelcase but no luck so far so regular it is, will cash-in 1 day off I had saved and did all my homework in advance, will be playing this 3 and a half days non-stop.

Never played Rising but I've been wanting to play it for years now, I'm waiting for a PS4 remastered edition.

Put in maybe 6 hours so far... nothing has really happened. I can see how these missions are going to get boring real fast though.

Up until mission 31 or so, the missions themselves don't really get boring, they designed them pretty good, adding little things here and there that really add to the mission. Unfortunately it feels like you're doing these missions for no reason since there's no story.

I think its because I like Solid Snake more, in my personal opinion I feel like the games he makes appearances in have more to tell. Anyone ever think its interesting that he is the only 1 to have crossed over whole (no loss of eye or limb) aside from his youth being ripped away?

Agree on all fronts, its not just one of the best RPG's I have played but Arguably one of the best Games I have ever played. Maybe CD Projekt Red will pick up Kojima LOL.

You can wipe out everyone,leave the area.If you go back it's like nothing happened and everyone is back at their posts.If you go from point A to point B you always stumble upon at least 2 outposts.
If it's for recruiting,then it should be like Peace Walker,replay a mission.

I rescued kaz without being detected, then as i was leaving i got spotted and booked it to the chopper. I met the twitchy people and escaped to mother base. I messed around for a while on the base then left to get some kfc. Thats where im at in the game. Pretty cool so far. Im sure by the weekend im going to hate myself for playing it.

So I was just digging around and recently read that one of the central character's story closures couldn't be fit into the game and was relegated into a BD episode from the LE edition as a gallery of photos, narrative text, gameplay concept art, and some cutscenes that were meant to depict the whole missing chapter/mission...

Edit: From what I've read, this so-called missing chapter is meant to be Episode 51 in the game...

Man so much I hate. I haven't received mine yet because amazon blows at pre orders. (I paid 40 bucks Canadian and playing witcher so I'm in no hurry but I am pissed)

I honestly wasn't a fan MSG4 cut scene were bothersome and I think MSG4 got me hook into smoking lol. It was an awesome ending for a great series.

Saw Skull Face in Afghanistan finally... these missions really feel like pure fluff to distract you until they throw a crumb of story at you, and you don't even know what the hell is going on when they do.

Mother Base seems completely useless to explore.

BTW the end credits to every single one of the episodes is such self congratulatory nonsense.
