Thanks guys. I've gotten so used to people calling me full of it and an idiot on here that I fully expected that response again. It's nice for a change to get other responses. Lol

I always find what you have to say interesting (especially the fiasco you had with ebay/PayPal regarding that scum bag who basically tried stealing your comic), it was just the negative stuff on the diecast line (older suit figures) that bugged me a bit..., won't be going there again though as it's a wait & see subject & you proved yourself a decent bloke about the whole thing anyway so you can't be thought of in a negative way now (well as far as I'm concerned).

I wasn't tryiing to be negative about it. Just upfront from someone that knows the industry and worked with hot toys and sideshow.

I think part of what went into the no ab is the fact the original didn't have it. And when they are trying to make the most out of the tooling and molds and the construction version of the mk3 has no lower half it makes sense. But since they didn't want to completly leave it as is they engineered the removable plates as a bonus. People look at it like they are skimping because they "just" did the plates, but if you look at it that it was never going to have the ab crunch, because of the tooling and whatever else (maybe marvel made a stipulation that it had to be close to the original design but not close to the new stuff..do you really think it's a coincidence that there's another construction version of the mk3 coming as well...I dont) or maybe they started with the permission to do the construction version and talked marvel into it but since they already used the mk3 license there where budget constraints and they couldn't completly redesign the torso and reused the construction molds for part they where with out an crunch..or a thousand other reasons. But they could have done it and not including the plate removal at all and still no ab crunch.

:goodpost: Yup, I think you hit the nail on the head there dude.

Did anyone else order the "exclusive" version in July/August when this was first announced only to have it not show in your order history that way? Not sure if sideshow changed my order or if something happened in the order process. When I click on the order "processing" it makes no mention of "exclusive where it normally would and when I click on the link it brings me to the regular version. Back in August the exclusive was not wait listed yet and as you all know sideshow brings you directly to the exclusive from their homepage as long as it hasn't sold out and only shows the regular version once the exclusive is waitlisted. I paid full price (no discounts) and the NRD for this, I would have never done that for the "regular version". maybe I am the only one this happened to?

Still there for me. You must have ordered the regular edition by mistake.

Read 10 pages of this thread and got tipped over the edge. Ordered! My local supplier still had it in stock AND at pre-Aussie dollar disaster prices. My first HT Iron Man, I can't wait.
