Does anyone know exactly which parts are diecast? I read somewhere the rear flaps are metal but no other info.

Until reviewers get it there is zero way to know. People are guessing until then.

With regard to the Arc Reactor exclusive, it looks just like the one that came with the original Mark II. Does anyone believe it will be in any way different from that one?

Probably not, Hot Toys do seem to like putting things they've already made in with other figures or accessory packs.

Thanks; that's what I figured. If the arc reactor is the exact same one that came with Mark II, I was just thinking about the fact that I already have one of those and I don't really need another one. It might be better to order the regular version via the payment plan to spread out the payments, since there is so much time before this is released.

Well it looks the same to me, but this one may be a little more accurate..... in sculpt, not design. You can't get movie accurate with the big 'IRON MAN' lettering on the front :lol

I hear you. It would be cool if they left the lettering off of this one, to be more movie-accurate. I'm not sure i'm optimistic that will happen, however. But, I have no basis for that feeling, other than a business hunch.

You can paint over the text, sand it down or cover it. It's not accurate anyway as the one in the movies has a slimmer base which is silver.

Anyone know if the previous version had an LED in it?

So, I've got the Mark III (Battle Damaged MMS110 Version) and I have this one on order. How many of you in the same position are planning on selling your BD MKIII? I can't decide since the new DC version has less accessories and no ab crunch, but I'm assuming it's more accurate and of course it IS diecast.

The original doesn't have an crunch either does it? I have it and if I recall it does not

I'm keeping mine. The BD 3 will go in the Hall of Armors while this Diecast will be a more open display. If I need the money tho I would sell my BD3
