Looking at this figure reminds me of the suit up scene, and then I remembered how boring Iron Man is these days with such quick, uneventful suit up scenes!

Yes it is a pretty great moment when Tony finally dons the iconic red and gold iron man suit. It's what gives this release charm as well, that it was the first and that it is from the best of all the Iron man and Marvel movies.

Thats just what it says when you hover over the bars, for example yours say's 'Motuxmen is just really nice' :D

I didn't even know what the bars where for. Or how any of that rep stuff works.

And as for that statement...I would bet there are some people who disagree. Lol

When should we first in hand pictures of this? I'm interested in bringing an Iron Man figure to my collection and since the Mark III is 120 EUR cheaper than the XLV, I'm interested in this a lot. (I don't like the new Civil War armor and it's too long to wait for the Infinity Wars one...)

It's been soo long that I preordered this that this was my 1st iron man from HT was supposed to be my only, but I have accumulated 7 armors since and had still not yet received this.

Haha this was my first Sideshow pre-order ... thought I would get this before 43 but as we know 43 was pushed up and 3 pushed back. Siiigh.

I'm being optimistic and have my fingers crossed that the long delay is due to them changing up the abdomen to include articulation.

Unfortunately if they keep the removable abs plate, I doubt they can do the articulated abs...rather have the latter :lecture
They can have both. I see no reason why they can't have the removable ab plate while also having ab articulation. The ab area would just split up into pieces the way it does now on the Mark 42/43 to allow for the articulation. They then just have the inner metal design on top of that ab area with removable chest pieces. Of course this requires them to change up the design but I'm hopeful that this change is what's causing the huge delay. I just can't see them releasing this armor with that articulation missing.

They even took Mark 42 and improved it's articulation for Mark 43 in it's abs and arms before release.

After seeing the construction version I'm thinking it'd probably be that you can pull the outer plating off and magnetically attach a 'ribcage' under the chest over the internal jointing, locking it in place.

Who am I kidding, of course they're not going to add ab articulation :monkey1
