Nah, I've been watching the thread a while and noticing everyone with theirs... :gah:

Every other pre-order I've made so far has been early, and have gotten the figures pretty promptly after release..

okay guys....Im debating on getting this for my suit up gamtry display. Besides the mark IV, which iron man suit looks the best in the gantry? I already have the marks 1-7 in the hall of armor and am a little hesitant on rebuying another of the same mark but this new diecast mark 3 has me grinding my teeth...Is it worth it?

What do you guys use to clean off your IM figures? Finger prints and smudges, etc.

Windex works and is pretty paint safe. But any auto paint cleaner should work...if your concerned about long term issues picking up some of the newer matte auto paint cleaners is a good option. They are designed to be used on fragile paint.

I'm tripping out at the height and color

Huh. Interesting about the height. Has anyone put him in a Hall of Armor display or just lined up with all the other armors? That's what i'm mainly going for and was wondering if anyone has put him there yet and was wondering if you could notice the height difference.

Seems like this height issue kinda conforms that this is based on the MkII AU. Whether the data to make the molds was the same or it was new data but done intentionally shorter so that it matched the MkII's height.

has anyone put him with the original MkIII?

Car detail spray or waterless car wash. I buy it by the gallon for my cars from Adam's Polishes.

Thanks guys. :hi5:

What about choice of cloth?

I'm a bit confused by the height difference because of this picture I had kept from the forum early on which shows the MkIII about the same height as the 43...

43 Knees are bent and there is a slight ab crunch.

"slight" is right, there isn't that much knee bend or ab crunching though... I wonder if in some of the other pictures the waist and legs were extended? I don't have the the 42 or 43 but I know my MkII War Machine can get taller if I extend his waist and I can extend his legs to give him more articulation too.

The big adjustment is with the head angled and the position the picture is taken (angle from above). It is framed to make them look level. They are not. The shoulder bells are obviously lower on the MK III so there is no way they could be same height with a relatively same size head.
