DAMN!!:ohbfrank:

Well hot toys made corrections to the rest of the first avenger lineup. They made Rescue and SSM have longer ankle pegs and suggested to put those onto the TFA cap.

Where can I get longer ankle pegs for my FA Cap??

Out of the box, the red doesn't look that bright. I think it may be the flash in some of the photos but the red looks good too me, not too dark, not too bright. Haven't played around with it yet, still taking unboxing pics, but it looks good, wouldn't call it a grail but I don't see anything wrong with it in terms of aesthetics.

It looks great until you get it next to other figures, lol.

You're right it looks terrible... :slap

You can pick any figure on this board and go through the thread, there will be great pictures and there will be terrible ones. In this case its more down to the ability to pose and take pictures. Stealth V3teran's picture is very simple in composition but very well done.
This figure can look amazing and terrible, depending on what you do with it.

I guess if someone really wants AOU Cap not to be taller than the MKIII when right next to each other then they could put shorter ankle pegs like the ones in First Avenger Cap in and make the AOU Cap shorter. It's not important to me, but a few people seem to want to put these two figures together and not have Cap taller, and so there is a possible solution to the problem.

I placed this beside starlord in a dynamic pose so I never noticed the size difference until I looked in this forum. I guess I won't be putting this with the Avengers line up. That's ashame. I really like this figure. It's a great representation of the classic comic armor. I'll keep this coz it still looked good in my shelf. Anyway, I planned on getting a modern look IM if not the 43, maybe wait for the CW armor. And I guess the Hulkbuster will have to do as well. :)

I'm going to have him in the kneeling pose so the height difference probably won't bother me in that respect but I can understand for the standing poses. I didn't have an issue with separating the upper torso and legs from that switch-out middle section either. Seemed pretty simple and straight forward, press the buttons, pull apart. Will hopefully get some pictures up later tonight of the kneel pose if I can get it, it'd be the first Iron Man figure that I could successfully get it for with the head looking up, haha. Then I'll switch back to some stance poses with this weaponry to take pics for you guys before going back to power pose and behind the doors. :wink1:

Hopefully Hulkbuster will be tall enough! And you get a free MK43 head with it, and a handy chest based storage location to keep the head in :wink1:

Finally!! :yess: :lol

bransen knows how much I've been struggling to achieve this pose with the first 2 die cast iron men :lol
I wonder if I can get him to look up a little more and with the Stark head..
