It was a pain on the earlier die cast figures but this one I got in seconds/minutes upon un-boxing. I know the range of articulation on IP and 42 after trying to get them in the pose so this was a piece of cake after switching out the torso.

I think this is about as close as i can get. I wish i could just take that cover off the left waist, it looks out of place. The way i have it displayed on the shelf it's not as noticeable.

That looks pretty good, subzro....the closest I got was having him look like he tripped and fell, catching himself before he hit face-first, Not good at all.

Any chance of some side and back view shots? Maybe I'll try again...

This really should have had double articulated knees like the original Mark 3. It would have been much easier to get this thing to pose. Somewhat disappointing but this armor is growing on me.

I watched the first Iron Man in honor of getting this figure. Hard to tell if the height is accurate but it is plain to see its close to the same height as the original release figure.

As you can see I popped the hip piece off trying to get him in this pose. It should really have magnets on these parts as well so you can remove them. I may try to do just that.

The 42s design really did grow on me overtime. I was really against the predominantly gold colour at first, but enjoy it now. I didn't buy it because I was holding out for the 43, which I currently have POed in the 1/4 scale. I think it will be an amazing figure.

I want the 1/4 scale 43 as well AND the 45. Really pleased with the 1/6 43 as it does replace the flexible lower back/hip piece with hard plastic and hip flaps.

BTW, this Mark III diecast does the landing pose better than any of those other armors.

One of mine was off right out of the package. Hopefully, they will replace it. Man, if you reattach that piece with glue, be really careful and make sure the piece sits flush with the rest of the flap. That rectangular piece does go in all the way to the flat plane of the piece. About a 1/8 of an inch.

If you don't do that, the hip flap will not sit right on his hips when the figure is standing straight and the flap will stick out.

Mark III arrives for me Tuesday, and Optimus Prime on Wednesday. It's going to be a good week!

Thank you subzero and jedijim for those comprehensive shots...I'll give it another go....and maybe post a few of my own.

I appreciate the photo-guidance here...
