Just got on the waitlist for the EX version. What do you think the chances of it actually converting ?

It'll convert. You've got a year until it's released. I got on the waitlist for light armor Thor right before his release and it converted. Come to think of it I should have done that with the Mark 33, but then again I have no use for a damaged Mark 42 helmet with a flame sticking out of it. At least this one has a piece worthwhile.

=moose;7068676]I don't think so as the new die cast figures were a new mold this figure is obviously the same mold as the armor unleashed hence I do not think it will contain any new enhancements. Which is a shame since they added so many new features they appear to be doing exactly the same release the did last time with a clean version and now seeing that Rob Cop battle version with a head sculpt we will more then likely be getting the same setup.

I am guessing they will release them with in the same year followed by the Mark 2 as all these share the same mold.

Next they will go for mark 4 and 6 then 5 and possibly a war machine 1.0[/QUOTE]

I highly doubt this will be the SAME mold as Mark 2 unleashed.

Sure there doesn't seem to be any abdomen articulation right now but I think it would be pretty dumb for them to not give it other, more improved articulation in other areas. At least better articulation than the mark 2 unleashed (not counting the abs, for now at least)

Shots fired!

Hey man, how'd you hold up during the hurricane? Everything all right with you?

The first one weakened to a tropical storm, it was the south of my island but we still got the edge, got heavy rains for 2 days. My island was fine but another one got hit hard, almost directly, and I think one part of that island still has no power.

The second hurricane ended up turning north and passed us 300 miles away. Pretty close but ugh nerve wreaking. Now I have to unbox all the Iron Men :lol

Putting a limited item on pre-order with the possibility that you may cancel the order is unfair to other collectors. I'm sure there are a bunch of people on the wait list for Python that would agree.

BTW: it's a bit hypothetical to criticize me for not like this practice while you simultaneously post about a practice that you don't like.

You may not know that persons situation. They might live at home, with no bills and just work to buy Hot Toys figures and pay for them from pay check to pay check.

Its nice to see your opinion of poor collectors is beginning to change

:lol

As for the "fairness to collector".... thats what a waitlist is for... it means "you missed out, but we'll let you know if something becomes available."

and when someone cancels someone else gets it, no big deal

Good to know everythings cool :hi5:

It's hard to believe none of the diecast joint features won't make it on this release. The first promo images of the released diecast IM also didn't show all these features but they made it in the final version. Given that I'm even wondering if HT finds a way to make ab crunch work with this (unwanted) torso reveal for the final version, but not holding my breath on that.

Glad to hear you're OK...and your toys too.

Maybe it has the button in the butt to drop his legs? Mark XLII-style shoulder articulation is also possible.

As a resident of VA and NC, I understand the nerve racking. I move a lot so this was always a hesitation for getting into Collectibles. Good to hear your in the clear.

Oh yeah all the prep stuff you gotta do is crazy.

And the news is reporting that theres another tropical storm coming here from Mexico/Cali and its supposed to be a Cat 1 Hurricane by saturday... Ok this is getting rediculous you know?
