Have faith in me.

it would depend on what has gone on that month though I suppose, my budget is fairly tight but allows for some splurging... get something random come up in a month and it takes away the ability to pay an NRD, gotta remember some people may be here and only pick up a couple of figures a year.

Agreed. But seriously, to wait to get paid in order to cover a NRD of $30 is pushing it. I am no one to judge, but that is very irresponsible. This hobby will be here for a while, get your affairs together first.

I don't know, to each it's own. I know for a fact that if I had to wait for a paycheck to cover $30 then in in the wrong hobby. And that is completely different than having buyers remorse when something better comes out for PO and then you are screwed because you paid a NRD on another item that you don't want no mo'.

But hey, what do I know.

Sideshow and Hot Toys also make it difficult to budget for pieces that are a year away. Things get delayed or pushed up but are rarely released the month they were advertised. I've got a lot of items that will be out October because of the shuffling around. I'm fortunate that I can handle the schedule changes but some people can't. No fault of their own--when you plan for 1 or 2 to be released one month and it increases to 3-5 pieces some people have to choose.

When I pre-order something I put that money onto a separate savings account and don't even think about it until I get the notice. I don't buy something I have to save up for and I don't ever use credit.

I don't care if that is what others want to do just don't complain about the NDR.

Buyers remorse is somewhat understandable.

Preordering a product based on the prototype pictures is akin to living on the bleeding edge of technology. You can sometimes get burned buying the newest thing out just as you can get burned pre-ordering a product that won't be delivered for a year.

Got a notification that Boba Debt quoted me. Not going to read it since I have you on ignore and have no plans to take you off the list. Please feel free to put me on your ignore list as well.

I pre-order everything I want, and if down the road I change my mind, I cancel it. Sorry other bro collectors who decided to buy something after I did, I hope you find peace in your lifetime.

I see this is on double rewards today....... I really wish SSC would stop doing this, its unfair to those who preorder on day one. What am I suppose to do, cancel my exclusive version with the NRD and then reorder on the WL and just hope I get one? Am I the only one who feels this way? This is coming from someone who has spent $1000s on SSC

You cannot get 2x rewards on a waitlist which sucks. I am drawn more to the indicator that the mark III may not be selling well through sideshow. Pretty crazy it is hitting double rewards a few mere weeks after announcement. Could be price, cheaper elsewhere but still it cannot be ignored.

Could hurt all the die cast remakes people are wishing for the original 7.

Yeah but BD was only on the chest, which wouldn't hinder ab crunch, the chest reveal they're doing is the chest and the waist.
That means no ab articulation if they go with that.

I meant that the chest feature was a substitute for BD parts all over the figure. And it could be an impetus for selling us a separate BD version in the future.

I don't care for the exclusive. How would I go about getting AFX to price match underground's? Just email them a link to the item on underground and ask?

I already had an order placed so I just replied back to the order confirmation with a link to the Underground price and they got back to me almost immediately. If you're placing a new order, use the price match button on their product page and they'll send you an email to confirm if they'll price match, and then you just copy and paste that whole email onto your order special instructions when you place it. Pretty easy.

I don't know if they make another mark3 diecast just to sell a BD version. The diecast molds probably cost more.

They don't need to make a whole new figure mold, just new molds of the chest armor and whatever else they want damaged. Fast way to make more money, case in point, War Machine 2.0 and Iron Patriot.

I'd have been much more likely to jump on this if it had BD. If HT is going to reissue these armors I wish they'd go all out and include both clean and BD armor pieces as standard--as well as a couple HS. Keep the reactor as the EX but don't cheap out when you charge over $300.

I'd rather have several BD parts instead of the chest feature. And a figure that was actually 12 inches tall. If you have several IM armors in a row, I wonder if the difference is going to be noticeable.

I think the Double Rewards Points applies to the regular version.

Now that I got my hands on the Iron patriot I realize that this is a quick cash grab as it has none of the upgrades that come with the die-cast models. Except for the movable underwear that is all I see none of the joints contain the new improvements I hope that that if and when they decide to release the other suits that they would not simply substitute plastic frame for a die-cast one.

All that added articulation was never shown in the preview/announcement pics for the diecast toys. They were only shown when the production versions were released. I'm hoping that they'll include a lot of that new articulation for the final production version of Mark 3. They probably just repainted the Mark 2 Unleashed, just to get the announcement out quickly.

I don't think so as the new die cast figures were a new mold this figure is obviously the same mold as the armor unleashed hence I do not think it will contain any new enhancements. Which is a shame since they added so many new features they appear to be doing exactly the same release the did last time with a clean version and now seeing that Rob Cop battle version with a head sculpt we will more then likely be getting the same setup.

I am guessing they will release them with in the same year followed by the Mark 2 as all these share the same mold.

Next they will go for mark 4 and 6 then 5 and possibly a war machine 1.0
