I hope so, because my original plan of putting the backpack on the v1 is probably not going to happen.

That, I'd wager no, some photo of v1 and DX backs side by sider earlier in here looked like the shoulder armor was fairly bulkier on the v1 and the backpack probabl won't fit around it.

I would actually say the head looks fine, slightly different angles are just accentuating slight inaccuracies, but the only thing glaringly off to me is the arms again. Forearms and shoulder pads are totally off

I agree about the forearms and pads. And as for the head, the shape looks odd right there, but most of all the ears are just plain off

Indeed, I'm sure some people think those of us really happy with this figure are nuts and need our eyes checked, disagreeing with an opinion and countering it with your own is one thing, coming down on someone for having the opinion they do is unnecessary.

I like everything about the head except the ears, which are a little funny looking. All I was saying is that the head looked odd in THAT particular picture. Maybe it was just the quick cropping.

i actually agree with you there

as much as i love this head/figure, the only think that's been bugging me is the ears. the nolan batman, both bb and tdk had very short ears, and in some pics, the dx head appears to have long keaton returns like ears. other than that though, i think the head looks amazing.

Just like in some pics, the DX ears look long and in some pics the ears look shorter.

The movies always have atleast 2 versions of everything for the suit. They had a long cape for some scenes and a short one for other scenes. It all depends on varying functions that a scene requires. Same goes for the cowl ears: they were quite long in some scenes but were probably shorter when he was in the tumbler, so they don't scrape the car's ceiling.

This happened when they were doing the first Keaton Batman movie. When they were sliding the canopy to close it, the rigid ears scraped against the ceiling.

I would like to see a rismo painted medicom dark knight version batman head on a DX batman. I am a fan of the PERS head, but I am wondering how the medicom painted and widened one would look.

and the gauntlets... why do some people insist on aligning it to the side when it should be in line with the elbows?

And look how much better the figure looks compared to v1 in that pose.

i still think the legs in V1 are better... and more accurate

There's only one thing that's more accurate about the V1 legs, everything else seems to my eye at least way less accurate. The shape of the plates is all wrong.
