Ears look long here:

But short here:

Just like in some pics, the DX ears look long and in some pics the ears look shorter.

Just look how different the shoulder pads look in these pics haha

Well there is two pieces for the shoulder armor. In the top image the bottom piece is pushed underneath the top piece.

Not really, the arm part is in basically the same position for both pics

yup. the shape of that upper part is also completely different. weird. im fine with the shoulder pads as is. its pretty close to perfection.

speaking of which, should have him tomorrow/friday....errr monday. heres hoping to tomorrow.

I would like to see a rismo painted medicom dark knight version batman head on a DX batman. I am a fan of the PERS head, but I am wondering how the medicom painted and widened one would look.

And i'm wondering how the DX neck & head would look if moved over to the Medicom batman...haha

exactly. You can clearly see that the shoulder armour is made out of two pieces. I never realised that before.

The v1 is an ugly figure from low angles, best shots of it are from elevated angles.

It looked good in Geil's photos but that was from a distance and level height.

There is something I do not like on Batman DX :

The rubber material used on Batman DX looks less accurate than the previous V1..
I mean The V1 was matt or dull and resembles perfectly with the real thing ( can be seen that in his legs ) but the rubber suit used on Batman DX looks too shiny and the material does not resembles too much .

Besides..I do not like the shape and how the rubber suit fits on the Batman DX legs

You know I've been on the fence with this figure for awhile. I think I'm truly happy with my V1. I just can't see myself buying another TDK Batman suit and I don't think the improvements made warrants me shelling out another $175 on an "upgrade" (especially after I spent only $85 on the V1 suit of Batman through wbshop's sale). I think I'm going to wait and see what they do with the suit in the 3rd movie.

Awesome shots Josh - finally someone takes the 2 seconds to fix the gauntlets, looks SOO much better with them corrected. Awesome figure. The head looks perfect.

It's way too late now, but it wouldn't have been a horrible idea to have the gauntlets be a part of the suit rather than worn over it.

Yeah, well either that or to have simply made them the same proportions as Medi have, which are the correct proportions

Well if they where part of the suit you'd have elbow pads that functioned correctly.
