Have see the actual cape, their crude diagram and words looks to me the same as the v1.

Well, mine cleared customs at 8:41 this morning and I'm assuming, since it's Express Mail, it's on the plane down here to TX. Got my fingers crossed that it'll be here tomorrow.

The neck doesn't need to be wider. The cowl does.

Well, to me its 100% the neck that is wider by a long shot. The cowl is 100% the same. Also, the pictures show how he widened the neck anyway, so

I still never understood how the V1's cape attached. The claps never laid flat with the body and stuck up. Also, it comes out if you cough too hard near it.

The trouble with the HT figures isn't the thickness of the neck necessarily, it's that where the neck and head meet doesn't flow. It seems like the figure neck should be wider because the movie costume flowed from the curves of the cowl into the neck smooth, but the way the figure is constructed and articulated, the neck just runs straight up into the head, so at the base of the cowl, the neck isn't wide enough, but the whole neck shouldn't be wider.

I really like the thicker neck that Tin made - in my opinion it gives the figure more presence and the same animalistic quality that the Begins costume does with its thick panther-like neck. Has he repainted the suit - it looks darker - and also repainted the belt?

I'd like to know how he thickened the neck, I'd consider doing that.

The neck mod reminds me of that piece of fan art (or possibly concept sketch) of TDK Batman with BB Batman's thick neck. Does anyone that floating around?

I don't dislike the neck mod, but I still feel it's uneccessary and could use a bit of scaling back.

Haven't seen what you're referring to, but it reminds me of the Bandai Batman.

I was actually excited about the Bandai set until I saw the Batman and the price tag, then the MM set was good enough for me

If it were marketed as just a Batman, I might look at it differently, where it was meant to represent TDK specifically, it was just too off for me, especailly when the set was like $150, I got the MM figure and bike for less than $40 I believe in total, and it looks like TDK Batman.

I have the Bandai Batman. No Bat pod though. It's a really good figure, and I got it for like $30 in a Batman lot of the bay, and the only thing I hate is the damn cape. It's too long and it's hard to get him to stand up. And doesn't really fit in with any other figures as he is too tall, but other than that he is top notch.

They don't look any longer than the OC Bats or Medi's TDK Bats at that angle.

The ears look longer because the head looks slimmer/longer. If the overall head looked wider like OC, I don't think anyone'd be too concerned with ear height.

Also, based on other shots in here, there looks like a fair ammount of camera distortion occurring in that shot, nothing about the head looks good there.

you do realize this is from the "SIC" line it stands for Super Imaginative Collection thus leading to the unfaithful look. It's based on the film yet a little more modern art...

It doesn't matter to me if it was intended to be interpretive or not, it was just that I didn't want an interpretation. I'm not saying they failed to match the TDK look or did bad, they just created a figure that didn't do what I wanted and so I didn't get it.

That neck mod looks absolutely awful. I can see the need for a little wider on the neck, yes, but that's way too thick!
Btw, oh great, another pain in the ass style v1 attachment on the cape

i thought you just didnt know. i personally have mutual feelings for the figure. im a movie accurate collector so never bothered to even follow this figure.
