Fortunately mine doesn't show any peeling till now. Sonar head has minor warp, I think only right ear is smaller, but I'm happy with it.
I have tried to pose him and found rubber suit a little more restrictive than v1, I guess it's because it's more tight, but most of the joints on mine are strong enough. I have manipulated him like v1, I mean touching the soft rubber, I prefer it shows defects now than months later.

With this guy I'm done with the DK collection, now I'm waiting for avatar figures.

BTW my DK v1 has some peeling in his butt, It's not that noticable but I would like to know if there's some way to fix it, I mean what kind of paint can I use?

Hey Guys,

My Hot Toys contact in Hong Kong just emailed me this:
Hot toys just tell me, because batman DX have some problem.
And February is chinese new year holiday.
The factory have to close about two weeks.
So batman dx slow stock will in stock on March.

Sounds like that means Batch 2 is now a March release.

You've already paid for yours but it's not shipping?

Yeah, only because Hot Toys notifies ActionHQ when their shipment is coming in before they send them out to the shop but because of this mighty screw up it's not happening, yet. They are like Toys2 that get the second runs onwards.

I don't know about you Maul, even though I'm more than happy to wait for a flawless figure it's going to be one mighty painful wait after seeing some of these photos like the above one from, Leniak.

Well it sounds like the main delay factor is Chinese New Year, it's not so much taking until March to do it right as nothing will be going on for awhile. Probably makes sense why most HT spring stuff doesn't ship until March/April. You get some spill over from December into January, but scheduled stuff isn't in final production right in February because of holiday. Oh well, more time to not have to pay up yet Just glad I'll have Wolverine and Connor in the mean time.

They're firing on all cylinders trying to get the Iron Man Mark III BD out the gate before Chinese New Year holiday but Batman gets knocked to March? Maybe some of the HK ebayers will get the 2nd batch before the holiday...

I want to be frustrated, but somehow I can't seem to muster the energy. Fine, March it is. Get it right, Hot Toys.

I can't see that happening with Iron Man, thats just asking for trouble. There's not even been any new pics of the new head sculpt.

I don't know about you Maul, even though I'm more than happy to wait for a flawless figure it's going to be one mighty painful wait after seeing some of these photos like the above one from, Leniak.

It's already very painful, I've been wanting this figure in hand since Joker, the DX Joker just polished and refined things so well that I finally had a Joker figure I'm completely happy with, having Batman that I'm not has been annoying, this DX will resolve that, and on top of being a better looking figure than the v1, it also has all the new goodies to mess around with too.

I definitely want a stable figure, but this is like v1 Connor again, a few first batch go out so you see in hand photos but then a production delay to deal with it. If no in hand shots were out and just delayed, I'd probably be less antsy about it, but knowing it was on track to be out and then this stings a bit.

That's crazy with ActionHQ too, you shouldn't charge people until you actually have the thing in hand because of situations like this. Good news is you won't have to worry if you don't have the money to cover it in March, but still, I don't really like the idea of paying in full before it's even ready to be delivered, at least mass production, I understand it with customs but it's different.

Well, Iron Man's probably getting rolled out and not getting the tedious inspection Batman is. From the sounds of things, Batman seems to be getting like at least 150% the normal QC monitoring. I don't doubt HT gives a strong QC effort on all figures, but with the massive mess this Batman became, they're really going to go above and beyond to make sure Batch 2 and 3 doesn't end up like Batch 1 with exchanges and Facebook bombardments and emails.

Their pre-orders you don't get charged when things normally go right they usually charge you 1 - 2 weeks before it arrives to their store once Hot Toys notifies them.

Personally I would prefer it like most shops do, charge once it's ready for despatch. However technically that wasn't their fault as it was 1 order for 2 different figs. 1 I currently have so that makes things somewhat complicated with the way this turned out for Batman.

Ahhh, yeah another item on the order will complicated things, but still even to charge just because HT says 1-2 weeks, things can happen in that window, as we've seen, where it no longer is 1-2 weeks. Maybe I'm just too cautious, but I don't count on anything until it's actually in my hands.

Yeah sonar head is a little bit rounder than pers head, I've seen one or two pics of that head with the same shape so I guess it's normal.

In my case it was probably due to the excessive rubbing done on that particular part of the figure. Here's a picture.

Initially, it was only a small part at the bottom of the right (looking at the picture) armor plate. I've since spent a good amount of time screwing with the ab armor and trying to figure out what's causing it, which probably led to more of the paint rubbing off. Nothing has happened on the rest of my figure, which has had nowhere near the amount of rubbing or contact that the ab area has had.

vodoun: I'm 100% positive that the foam wouldn't do anything to it if you got one that was properly primed/sealed.

There is a problem with the foam in the box it seems to not allow moisture to escape!
If you dab that spot with cotton q tip or cotton cloth I bet it will go away
I am in utah and twice I saw this on my figure and the dab took it away

So if you are in houston might want to keep the figure out of the box

just noticed something thats very unusual on my bats costume.

For those of you who have gotten their DX already, you know that the abs armor came with some sort of lubricant applied right?

so I wiped them clean, like a week ago. And it looks dried up.

But today, when I was looking at him, I noticed that its wet again, and when I open up the belt, theres lubricant again

I cleaned it again, and theres no paint chipping or anything of that sort, but it just puzzles me.

anyone experienced the same thing?
