I just receieved mine, but the figure is unbalanced and it has following problems as the one below. Sonar head is fine. But neck and shoulder part are the problems. Should I contact the seller or the hot toys?
I bought this on ebay all the way from Hong Kong.

Look at the shape of your sonar head, it is not ok. Is it possible to adjust the armour to make the back spine look straight?

I just got mine. It's really awesome figure, but I found some problems. The right shoulder is higher than left shoulder which means its not balanced. The neck part on the back armor is twisted.

Your Batman DX suit has the same annoying oil in the abdoninal area :..you can clean it but appears again a few hours later

Actually, the shoulders are not fine. Look at the edge of the shoulder pad in relation to the v-cut behind the neck...its closer on the right than on the left, and the shoulder pads look like they have the divots at the edge, too....the spine seems off to the left as well. The whole chest armor piece looks whacked to me, as well as the sonar head. You should contact HT & get that replaced.

I guess you should contact Hot toys because you can ask them to check the body before they send out. If you contact Hot Toys for replacement, it may take four to six weeks to arrive.

I cancelled my preorder today. I won't get this one anymore .......... if anyone ever decides to sell a spare DX headsculpt i'm interested.

There's a buttload of problems with this figure, and Hot Toys only mentioned fixing the paint........not the warped heads or screwed up armor

Yep, Eddie pretty much nailed the real reason. I think the new Terminator licenses also played a role too. I also think after seeing what Crow did with his V1 I see no need to spend another $220+ on an improved piece. I do want to replace my V1 head though. I feel no regrets either.

My browser seems to resize the pictures that are too big to fit on the web page, but yet it is annoying when you have a couple of tabs open and one of them is slowing the rest down.

Yeah they resize only because the forum is temporarily scaling them but when they load you have a huge scrollbar <------------------> and it's a pig when scrolling or it's bouncing ^\/ the browser while they all load and fall into a smaller size after fully loaded.

It's quite annoying.

My browser seems to resize the pictures that are too big to fit on the web page, but yet it is annoying when you have a couple of tabs open and one of them is slowing the rest down.

The forum resizes them for the viewing space, but it doesn't aid load times, they can still bog down things, I have high speed net and some of these high res shots slow things down.

Thanks for pointing out, I did not know how to explain the problems. HOt toys reply to me in timely manner. That was unexpected because I thought it will take awhile. It seems they are taking it really seriously. I sent pictures and receipt.

Now, here is a thing. If hot toys is going to send me replacement, do i have to destroy this figure....? because I read someone destroy it by their own hand. I don't want to do that. or is hot toys letting me keep it or send it back? Does anybody know?

Yeah, I did not notice until you pointed it out because of light i did not see it and I just robbed it off and I thought it will dissappear or something. I also wrote this issue to hot toys. Thanks for pointing out.

So I ordered this figure from BBTS a while ago but I haven't paid a lot of attention to this thread yet.

It seems like there are a lot of quality control issues here although the figure looks very cool.

I never bought the V1 batman and don't own any 1/6 batman, and I was really hoping that this was the figure I have been waiting for.

Is it or should I actually consider canceling my preorder of this figure?

Wait for a second batch! Contact the seller and find out. If you want to get a perfect one (I doubt if there's any) cancel the pre-order, but you will have to pay more than what you have paid for the pre-order.

But, don't worry if there's anything wrong hot toys will take care of it, as long as you have receipt and pictures to prove.
