The grappel gun holster doesn't look bad here! I expected the containers on the belt to hide the gap between the belt and holster, and it does.

I do understand why a lot of ppl were concerned but yeah ppl needed to have some faith and stop the fear mongering and in the end they have to admit that the problems were solved, likely without all the heardship to themselves.... but oh well these same ppl will believe that they were the saviours of all of us as without them going up the wall these problems would not have been resolved but if that is what makes them finally happy so be it

V!C Did you just started this hobby. Count yourself lucky (myself as well). I just bought the HT SWAT 3.0 from 2006 and the gear is great but the face is horrible!! haha

Yup, HT's come a long way.

The hiring of Yulli and JC really got Hot Toys onto the path they're on now, they have other great talents now, but those two were the ones that took things and really got the figures heading in the direction they're at now, before those to, you got so-so paint jobs and raw, basic sculpts.

haha this puts things we get now into perspective I guess used to be PF and other $$$$ colectibles were th only options so in a way HTs quality is really great and much more affordable
I am glad I just started, just wish I had picked up the TDK OC when I had a chance a tear ago

I don't regret the older figures, it's that or don't have that character in the collection, but there is a solid evolution in Hot Toys figures over the past few years, from paint to sculpts to bodies. The only thing that hasn't really needed too much growth over the years is tailoring and accessories, they've been really good at that all along. My 2006 Rambo Trautman has a nicer suit than some figures made today.

The only thing that hasn't really needed too much growth over the years is tailoring and accessories, they've been really good at that all along. Yeah the SWAT outfit is really nice and I am just replacing that head with the generic narrow shoulder one and should be good to go
I am just going through TDK frame by frame to get some good look at how they were equipped in the movie and hope I can set it up in preperation of the Batman
Oh btw since you may have it already, what's the strip of grey tape for?

I agree. The clothing on the Terminator MMS02 still looks good by today's standards

Oh btw since you may have it already, what's the strip of grey tape for?

I don't but my guess is for securing some piece of gear like a knife or flashlight, that seems common with military figures.

Yup, the only major stride they've made with clothing is weathering, they've really grown at mass producing clothing that looks worn, faded, dirty, whatever is needed for the character. I'm really amazed by the humans from the Salvation line and DX Joker's purple coat in that regard.

1.) You're an idiot.

2.) There are a lot of problems with the DX Batman figures that were initially released to Toy Hunters. That's not an opinion, speculation, or anything but a fact. I've had no paint peeling problems on mine, but the ab armor is leaking a ____load of oil. So much that, within a day after cleaning it off, it's completely covered with a full sheen of the oil again. You can post all the inflammatory garbage you want, but that doesn't change anything.

So Batch 2 has been released? Is this certain? So how far behind does this release look? How soon will it be before the people in Beijing get their shipments?

Yes, Batch 2 seems to be shipping. The only supporting evidence that it's Batch 2 is that Toys2 is expecting stock soon, and they're always a Batch 2 distributor, Batch 1 is always Toy Hunters and HK places, and with Dark Knight, there's then Batch 3 which is DCD and anyone supplied by DCD.

Yes, because Batch 1 from the production facility contained the defective figures.

Presumably, Batch 2 and Batch 3 should be defect free with maybe one case here or there, much much less than Batch 1, and people not wanting to go through the return/replacement hastles with the Batch 1 defects are looking to know when Batch 2 is out, who's getting figures from it, and if there are less problems in the batch.
