Just got mine two days ago and it was perefect. The odds are in your favor that your's wll be too.

No, I went through AE. It would have cost me 45-50 more for the EX since I live in CA.

I used liquitex black and airbrushed it on.
Nice use of the Mattel suit,i think it fits and looks great with the hot toys boots and trunks .and i realy like the way the emblem looks more intergrated and part of the suit and less like a sticker ,the mattel suit is a nice alterative for those who dont like the "sparkle "of the hot toys suit and maybe have issues with snags and pulls ,id love to know how you darkened it up for the bad superman look

Okay so I finally choose a pose for this guy and now he is sitting on my desk and I just can't help but stare at this wonderful figure. I will say that the suit is just a little too shiny for me and I wish the cape was a little more fuller like Routh's cape was but what are you going to do? This is beyond a doubt one of the best Superman pieces I own.

I agree, but the scale will make it look different. Just a thought. I probably wont because Im fine with it as is and I dont have anytime these days anyway.

So I have a question for the customizers out there that work with the Hot Toys bodies... is there a way that I can tighten the hinge that allows for the arm to go in toward the body? It's not the ball joint of the shoulder but that little hinge joint in the chest. My left arm's hinge joint is a little loose and I want to try to fix it without having to buy a new body for this reason.

Finally got mine today. Overall good figure. HS is great. The costume has just a few minor imperfections, but no big deal. The base looks very nice. I was just left wishing there had been some more to this figure. I hope we get a Clark down the road.

Superman has landed and wow is this a great figure. I can't stop looking at the sculpt, looks just like Mr. Reeve. While looking at the pics on here and other sites for the past few weeks, all I can say is he looks 100x better in person. The suit is perfect and I love the cape, with it being so poseable. Another thing is the box, I wish I had more space to display it. With me being a bigger batman fan and more of a casual Superman fan, this may be my favorite, at least til Keaton Bats gets here. Can't wait to see both together
