Thought I would throw up a few pics of mine. I did end up making my own holder for him. The bulky black clamp was ugly and I wanted him to look more like he was truely hovering. Made it out of a wire coat hanger and it supports him under his arm pits just like picking up a baby.

Nice job! I agree the black clamp doesn't look good with Superman.

really like the display though. I am amazed at talent people on here have with working with these figures. I spend hours futzing with mine and they end up looking like crap.

I finally opened mine from Cornerstore Comics and it is a great figure but the S shield sticker was coming off immediately. I called and spoke with a really helpful guy who found a perfect sample and sent it out today. I will then send back mine when I get the new one. I really recommend Cornerstore to anyone. I have always had good service with them. They helped me when I got a faulty Dutch also.

Wow, the S was coming off?! That's not cool! Hope that doesn't mean that's gonna happen to all of them eventually.

Well, the corner of it was. But then I posed him and saw it was getting worse. I didn't want the whole side of it coming off so I got it replaced. We do pay enough for these that we shoudn't have to worry about that. Still a great figure. What a headsculpt!!

Got mine today. Best Hot Toys' figure yet. Hell, one of the best 1/6 scale figures I have ever seen. In one word--EPIC!

Yeah I have no idea what he's talking about. It's the exact same brown shipper they've always done.

There are two different shippers. The Exclusive i received from Sideshow came in a thicker shipper. The Regular version I received from Alter Ego was a lot thinner, not really a shipper, but a way to protect individual boxes in their larger carton. Just grateful AE packed their is another box with packing. Would of never survived. The corner of the carton was all smashed in.

I got regular also and the HT brown box seemed to be a weaker cardboard then usual. Mine came from AE also so it could have been wrapped in toilet paper and it wouldn't matter with the extra shipping box. Got to love the boys and girls at AlterEgo.
