Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I am planning on doing that. :)

Me either. I haven't taken very many good pictures. This one is my favorite so far, though...

I took this one right after Christmas. I hadn't futzed him much. But then again, he doesn't really need much.

EDIT: Here are some more I just took. I love this figure.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

In the many months I've owned this figure, I've never had him posed with both feet on the ground. I don't know, something about this pose seems imposing yet simple. I've kept him in this pose ever since I got him.

To my delight this pose could be done on the standard stand! :yess:

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Has anybody tried to remove the pegs of the boots, I have ones that want to replace with the long pegs for a bash??...

I've never taken the boots on mine off till about five minutes ago(Just to check for you), but the pegs come out. You will need a pair of long nose pliers(4" will be fine) with knurled tips to grip the pegs, but they do come out. And can be changed with any sized ones you fancy.

Thanks a lot:clap, just order the long pegs, gonna give it a try next week, once they arrive:1-1:

I got a set of Captain America Rescue Version long footpegs and swapped them out for the standard ones from the Reeve boots today.
They really make a difference when putting the Reeve boots on a TTM19 which is shorter than the Reeve body.
Here's a before image of the height of the TTM body(Wearing the Reeve Suit) next to the Routh SR version:

And the After image with the improved height:

AHHH.. Did you really put a Brandon Routh head on a Christopher Reeve Superman figure. :horror :gah::thwak:banghead:explode::computer:FREAK::slap

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

No BS, Supes is my next figure! I've put him off way too long.

You shall not regret it.

Nope.
I put a Routh head on a TTM19 body with thigh enlargers, Bruce Lee Fists that is wearing a $15 Reeve suit(Had a stain which i washed off, and a tear that i sewed up), $40 Reeve boots adjusted on Rescue Version Captain America footpegs...
So you see it's not really a Reeve Supes at all.
I also changed the belt buckle to look different.
The suit makes it...
Since these images were taken, the neck is shorter(It's on a Barney Ross neck peg now):

This figure is starting to sell out which is why it's my #1 focus to pick up.

Crap. I'd better hurry up too. :(
