Terminator got a good run, as did Aliens. Even Terminator Salvation another box office flop got around 4-5 figures

IM Bats & Preds can all be considered flagship lines for HT, why would anyone try to shoot them down?

I think what makes people upset, when they see Hall of Armor or Gantry is what makes Ironman more deserving than Thor or Cap or even Terminator???

A Loki or Hiemdall or Sif would have sold better than Odin but looks like HT just walked away. Imagine if they had tried to make Odins thrown, they could have broken it up into parts and given them to each figure and let collectors put it together or something

Or they could have made Red skull or Hydra soldier already or the Vita ray chamber. Theres a lot of potential products they could be doing instead of more Ironman

It must be on purpose that they are missing those extra characters opportunities. Maybe it's because it's a great way to re-release hero characters. Just create the villains a couple for years later and get out re-releases to the new consumers. Let's face it, as long as the quality of the figures improve, us current guys aren't going anywhere and we'll wait and purchase figures from a movie line a couple of years later. Case in point Iron Monger.

I'm pretty sure they try to make figures that sell...as long as we keep buying IM figures, duh, they're going to make more IM figures...same for all the other popular lines. I know this is obvious for most...just pointing it out for those who can't quite grasp it

I'd guess it's a mix of them making stuff they want to make and making stuff that makes them money and sometimes those two are the same thing and sometimes they aren't.

A huge chunk of the retail price goes to the license owners, so blame them if you have to blame someone.

HT aren't a charity, they have to make a profit.

Yes, but I also think it's pretty clear they also take a lot of pride in their work. Otherwise they wouldn't make so many adjustments between prototype and finished product on a lot of their releases. Or quite frankly make such impressive products. They've made a lot of effort to improve from just a few years ago. Just look at the original Alien vs Predator figures compared to the most recent Predators figures. Or the Robocop figures to the Iron Man figures, or the Rocky figures to any of the more recent regular humans.

Seriously, I have bought and sold items at "fair market value", but this guy is ridiculous. If he/she is a member of this forum, they should be banned for life

If this is a limited release considering the size, this thing is going to double in value even before it comes out.

It's quite expensive, though cheaper than i thought it would be, so i doubt it will go up until after release and it becomes hard to find.

The best comparison for how many there will be is probably the Tumbler and Bat-Pod
