So I ordered from SS and my final payment gets charged tomorrow. Usually if a figure is delayed they'll postpone that payment.

Has anyone heard from SS yet?

That's weird. But Monger wasn't in today's newsletter as coming in the next 30 days so he's definitely not on his way as much as I wish he was.

Exactly why I thought it was strange that I was still getting charged.

Just checked the account activity calendar and it's still scheduled for tomorrow. I guess it's subject to change until the very last minute.

I'm going to pay my final payment on Monger next w.end i think. Even though it looks like getting delayed, I'd rather have it payed up as scheduled than leaving it & spending the money I've set aside for it, which I will do to. Just waiting on this and my Mk I to complete my Iron Man armours, well thats until the VII and Whiplash armour gets announced that is

Dude, I'm in exactly the same boat. I've had to do some serious budget adjustments (living on a fixed income) to swing these payments. I'm just looking forward to the figure and I'll be glad to have it paid for up front. No way I coulda done this without flexpay. And I can't afford to incur any more credit debt.

I was just told by SSC that they can not and do not charge the final payment of a flex pay until the items is ready to ship. My final payment was scheduled to come out May 5 also. I was told I will not be charged until the item hits the warehouse. She then told me it would be arriving some time in late June. So we'd see it early July. Thats earlier than expected, based on the inital delay announcement.

The price- REASONABLE- look at the recent batch of $220 1/6 human figures....this thing is going to dwarf them and going to have real bulk

I've wanted this guy since I saw IM in the theater in 2008! So glad it's actually becoming a reality (not unlike HT going back to the Robocop license later this year to finally give us Robocain!) I'm more excited for Monger than the full set of Avengers figures.

Oh, and i'm ecstatic that 4 of my 'larger-sized' Grail items are all, or will all eventually be on my shelf, fully realizes in 1/6, and all by HT! (Power-Loader, ED-209, Robocain and Iron Monger)

Can't wait for this figure!

Sideshow has bumped my final (May) flexpay to June, and reports a June release. I hope the Monger actually arrives at that time, as opposed to SS bumping it back every month until September.

Yup. Just look at their most recent announcement, 1/6 Thor. Not enough there to justify the high price.

As I posted earlier in this thread, I was told by SSC that this is scheduled to hit their warehouse @ the end of June. So IF that does happen, we'll see it then or the 1st week of july.
