I think it was the presence of Mr Pryor and the really stupid slapstick humour in SM-II and III that sent the franchise down a terrible path from which it never really recovered.

Man on phone still laughing and joking when his phone booth was blown over (instead of running for his life like everyone else) and his phone was no longer connected to anything.

Custard pies. Custard pies? CUSTARD freakin' PIES!!! Seriously?? :gah:

A waste of a potentially great film, now sadly only a so-so film with great moments.

That was a Richard Lester added scene in SMII. I fully blame the Salkind's for the demise of the franchise after they fired Donner.

The original movie still had some bad sequences ("Can you read my mind?"), but nothing like what the rest of the franchise had. :lol

Great vid:)

Gave me big laughs unintentionally:)
The way you say "version" sounds like virgin to me.:lol
And you say it 3 times, plus you said "evil version and good version" together:rotfl

Seriously though great collection , it ain't all about quantity, it's about quality and you have some nice pieces there.
Like the joker setup.:clap

The sculpt looks alot better with the repaint and I was quite jealous watching you open it up and was even thinking "I gotta get me one NOW"
Then I remembered the price and the fact I have nearly all the bits to make a custom as good if not better.:dunno
Anybody got any trunks evil or plain let me know.
I havn't done a complete u turn on this figure, because of the sculpt but it's a nice piece and the two versions:)lol) look good together.
:peace fella;)

Just opened this guy.

Fun figure, but very lazy release.
Base is great, even better than I thought it would be. These will sell like hot cakes for other figures (bloody Iron Man).

What I found particularly interesting on this was the QC. Pretty piss poor for HT, I already have been pretty vocal about the other Ex this year (Captain America) and how rushed and poor the QC on that was well, it's almost as bad here. What really makes it obvious is a quick comparison to the previous release of this figure. What we are witnessing here is a rapid decline of quality with HT, maybe it's just these con EX releases that have been rushed out, I hope so.

The seams, the packaging, lots of little nitpicks and not a patch on the non-evil version. It's worth picking up for a Superman completist like me, but really isn't evil enough. :lol

I think my wife summed it up by saying "you have that already don't you?"

For me it's the sloppyness of the figure that comes forward. We are now looking at HT releases with Enterbay QC issues. Never thought I would see that happen. **** Iron Man.

They will continue on the down hill, if folks complain but still end up buying these anyways. Just like what happened to mcfarlane toys.

Which McFarlane line are you referring to? Spawn or some other license? Just curious?

Thats a shame.
True though if people keep buying then they get away with it.How are the boots?
Just bought a pair for my custom surely they are ok:)
Was actually coming round to thinking I might have been too harsh before but seems not.
Anybody else got the figure?
Whats your thoughts compared to the original in terms of quality?

Would anyone here know if it's possible to add (via molding) a hair sculpt to an already existing hair sculpt. For example, I would like to customize my Hot toys Superman Chris Reeve head to look more like the "Evil Superman" head/hair. I believe with a little "Futzing around" it could be done.....However, i would like to get the opinion of experts like the customizers here.

Would like the hair to go from this..............

To this...............
