Great job user! Can you help a brother out and post the recipe? I'd love to do this for both my MOS figures.

I didn't take WIP images of this one, but i did for the MOS. You first drill out the irises with a fine drill bit(I set the drill hole by using a sewing needle in a pin vice to mark the hole), and make the drill hole about 10mm deep.
Then dremel out the headsculpt until you can see the holes. Then very carefully thin out the area behind the eyes until it's between 1/2 a millimetre and 2/10ths. You check this by dremelling in a dark room with a small torch in front of the eyes, and gauge it by how much light gets "in" to where you are dremelling.
For the Reeve one, i though just the pupils looked good.

That looks great, Username.

For some reason, the heat vision eyes look better on the Reeve Superman III evil Supes than it does on the regular Reeve Supes. Probably because I keep envisioning that scene at the bar where he melted the glass after flicking the nuts at the liquor bottles on the shelf. :lol

That's great. What kind of LED's are you using?

Just normal Red ones for the heat vision, with a 3V power supply that has a built in switch, making the batteries easy to change.

Thanks. And yeah, that Reeve Evil version was perfect for the alteration. I did that for a guy on a facebook group.

Still loving this figure. Can't wait to see him in Batman Vs Superman. Make a quick vid for my man Zod

As I've mentioned in previous threads, I'm on a crusade to build my villains collection (both DC and Marvel), so I came across Zod on Popcultcha for half price ($169.99 AUD), then I used their $10 off Easter code and $50 off in reward points, to snag him for $109.99 AUD!

:hi5:

I'm keen to get him actually, because he looks bad ass!

I have bought this figure three times.
First time(For me), i put it in the pile to be opened but it was my Brother's birthday coming up. So i gave him Zod...
Second time, it was once again in the pile and my Brother mentioned he needed another Zod to do an armour-less version... So i gave him the second one.
Cut to a few weeks back and i got that email from BBTS about 30% off HT figures, so i picked him up again. Finally. This one is mine, lol.

Have you always wanted it, or has BvS piqued your interested in it? I ask because I wonder if his role in BvS will possibly rekindle interest in this figure for some.

I have always wanted this I had pre order when it first came out but decided to cancel because I thought it was kinda expensive at the time. I can see I was right with how much cheaper you can find some these days.

It is a very good figure in its own right. I have him displayed next to Superman but had to switch bases, as these were huge space hogs. (Even if they do look cool.)

The bases do look cool but like you said they are to space hogs so I put my superman on just a regular base.

Third time's a charm. :lol

Same here. I have all three MoS figures (Supes, Zod and Jor-El) and although cool looking, the bases are way too big and voluminous. I also am generally not a fan of c-clamps, so I put all three figures on the standard u-cradle oval stands.

YW, glad I could help you in your search for him :)

He came today! And he far exceeded my expectations. What a brilliant figure to add to my collection! He is a truly awesome figure and I would go as far to say he is one of my favourites in my collection :horror
