well i've decided i'm keeping mine no matter what.
even is ss doesn't do anything about it, it's still a great statue none the less.
once beserker comes out and what ever other baddies ss comes out with, it wouldn't look right without the orc amoungst them imo.

I am really interested to see the response. Fix it or allow for returns/cancellations at no cost to buyer?

I was really looking forward to this PF. I think I'm more bothered by the cheap looking cloth that was selected to replace what was supposed to be leather/animal hides more so than the change in color. If the production pieces had stuck with leather/pleather that included the stitching, I probably would have kept my order, even if it was the brighter red in color. Weathering/staining is always an option, sure, but adding stitching and replacing the low quality material with something of higher grade isn't very feasible.

Unfortunately, the comparison with others confirmed that it's not a one off. Several of them are receiving it in bright red.

Well hopefully other people start to receive their MO so comparisons can be done, it may of been a one off

Well dark Dave, honnestly, in this instance, I think you're biased...I wont say shat here anymore cause you obviously think i'm one of the ''usual suspects'', but the uproar here and at SF are justified IMO...Sideshow's QC skrewed the fans out of a great piece.Just hope it never happens to a marvel statue I'm having on order...:monkey1

I'm really not sure how to upload this the right way,so if anybody wants to re-post them please do so.The reception this pics had was some what unexpected but for the people that want to keep it still all i have to say is that it is a great sculpture.I hope this helps

Matches nicely with the basketball hoop. :monkey1

In those pics its not that bright red. Looks pretty much Burgundy to me. Where you have normal shadows and light mixing in I should say. If you have bright light and/or flash on it then the thing gets much brighter.

These pics are better but it still is not right.

How about a prepainted kit... then what ever is wrong with these pieces that are produced we can fix it before we put all the parts together ? This could also lower the cost!

I know, I know, it will never happen, what was I thinking :duh

Yeah... No offense, Josh, but it looks really red in all of the pictures I've seen.

In the second set of pics by ronnin looks pretty much burgundy to me. Thats not even close to bright red no offense.

:lol:lol:rotfl

Looks like Sideshow waved their magic wand on this after all. The damn thing looks like he's gonna go out for cocktails in it's bright red dress. I'm going to end up keeping mine since there has to be a way to customize the thing to make it look darker/more weathered.

No matter how you look at it, someone dropped the ball on this one.
