Tankman, can you please tell us, if there is certainty, whether there'll be a 12" Predator or not, I see a lot of people getting hopes up and NECA just seems to be random with what figures are put out at 12" and I think people should know what to expect from NECA in this line, if such information is known and can be shared.

It'll be a large figure I would think. The big Q is will it be 12 or 18 inch scale. I want 18 but we'll have to wait and see. We've done lots of 18 inch figures and one more still is waiting. The best 18 inch figure ever the Predator. I want that real bad. I hope it will happen but it could end up being 14 inches maybe. Wait and see and hope for the best. We should just do 3 scales and make everbody happy.

I'd love the P2 to capture him like when he gets up off the floor in the warehouse and lets out a big roar at Harrigan.

That is what I'm hoping to do with P2. Man the Predators rule. Wait a minute I forgot about AVP 1.

Kyle, as far as I know, we have a 7 inch Predator 1, we have a 12" one....18" imo is the way to go. Add real netting too!

14 inch Preds will do fine, esspecially for the price and display options and more importantly will not take up so much bloody space.Since i never got the P1 Hot Toys figure because its not appealing enough to me, i would definitely love to have these Neca versions at 14inches to stand next to my HT Wolf and P2 Preds.

I do find NECA very unpredictable with scales, and I find it strange how even among them there's inconsistencies. I have the 7" and 12" Jack Sparrows from At World's end, the 7" is wearing his coat, the 12" isn't and has differently sculpted arms. I would have assumed it would just have been easier to do the 12" exactly like the 7"

I'm not sure really why they even do 18", while some figures are really nice to have large, like this Predator would be, it seems like the 18" scale often peg warms while the smaller scales move better. It'd be great if they just had 7" and 12" always in cases where there's a lone figure, like Michael Myers, and cases like Predator or T2, do at least one.

That is what I'm hoping to do with P2. Man the Predators rule. Wait a minute I forgot about AVP 1.

I think what's cool about them is they have the power and ferocity of a big bear mixed with the calculating and mindful traits of a human.

Anyone have an idea of how much these guys are gonna cost?/when the realese date is?

I'm really impressed by NECA on these(I liked their Predalien figure too) but these ones beat it by far!!!!!

i'm praying for a 14 inch predator, elder 2 and predator 2,
these would go perfect with our 12 inch neca terninators, and all 1/6 figures we have.they will sell like crazy.of course i'm getting all the 7 inch one's too, as i have the terminators.

From my point of view your sculpt of Predator 1 is absolutely fantastic. I wish cinemaquette was that accurate. Don't you think that with your gift & skills you should try to sculpt a high-end statue?
But anyway, even with the fact that it's a 20-30$ figure - this is a must have for any collector from my point of view.
I'm sorry for a kinda repeating this question again, I just want to understand the chances - is there a possibility that this will be in proper 1/4 or 1/6 scale? I mean not just 18" & 12", but 20-22" & 14"-15" figures? I'm really interested in this question because I'm the one of those people who can't see HT Midget that almost same height with Dutch, you know. Such epic figure as original Predator (especially with such masterpiece sculpt) deserves proper height

For sure they'll be in the 7", $15 scale, whether we'll see any and which at 12" or 18" scale remains to be seen. I would guess these might start to show up around summer.

One thing I doubt is a good idea is to make 14" figs. That's the EXACT size of Hot Toy's stuff, so you can tell people will compare them.

In a last desperate attempt... Dog Alien, anyone? If NECA touched that, it'd blow the McF one outta the water.

Daah, with the prices jacked for Hot Toys P2 Elder and in some cases P2 and P1 will be getting up there soon, its only the logical choice to make them 14inch to blend in with 1/6th since 1/6th scale collectibles are selling very well these days.You also have to look at the cost with 18inch compared to a 12inch in this day and age where collecting is not a easy hobby to stay in, i would rather own a P1 and Elder 14inch for the price of one 18inch.It sits easily in a detolf, no need to worry about space and dusting them often and also, i believe the details would present better for these characters at 14inches.

Screw the ones that compare them, buy what you like best.

And who cares if people compare anyway, I already did, it's the nature of having 2 or more similar things meant to represent the same source.

I see a trend around here of people that get defensive like the one they own has to be the best one and how dare anyone compare something "inferior" to it. If you're happy with what you paid for, who gives a ____ what anyone else has to do or say about it, at the end of the day, it's on your shelf and the money's out of your wallet, all that matters is that you're not unhappy with it.

True, but SOME (not all) might not buy them.

I agree with MaulFan; if you like the darn figure, then by all means, go nuts.
That was just a thought that doesn't necessarily apply to all. Having that said, any other size works great! The more different it is, the more reason people will have to buy.

Whoa, ninja! I don't think there's an ETA. Most people think sometime in the summer, but no one from NECA seems to have said much.
