I respect Mattel for finally making movie based GB figures but after seeing the front shots I'm not impressed. I do really dig the gear so I think if anything Ill end up getting the figures and just switching my customs gear with Mattels haha. I'm still really liking the 6 inch line though.

yeah ithink so, i do like the trap and the pack, its jst the boots, suit etc.

I'm still hopeful these figures will serve my purposes for representing GB on the shelf...but other than the gear, the sculpt and suit have a long way to go. Not sure it will improve so much as to be comparable to HT level or the current market expectations for 1/6th figures. But again, I'm hopeful it will be close enough at $60 a pop.

yeah like u say i can guess alot of ppl will change the bodys and suits maybe. but yeah its def not worth more than $60 looking at that.

Yeah, judging by this, $60 is a good price. Although I'd be willing to spend more if they reworked it to be even more collector impressive for the market they're appealing to.

But, in the end, I'm not as picky as some here only because I know I can do alot to improve things on my own once in-hand -- dying, stitching, replacing bits for more accurate parts, etc. That said, I'd still like them to be as far along as possible.

I hope the 6" come with a trap and other ghost busting items other than the backpack.

yeah im still going to get these for sure, but llike usay afew fans who are picky, me being one of em lol :rotfl:lol:rotfl

I do wish they had an e-mail. We could put together a list of suggestions from the 1/6th community and help them make massive improvements.

meh. the suits look kinda "toyish" if that makes any sense. think i'll stick with my customs. still might pick some of these up to appease the GB fan in me but i'm not expecting too much from mattel.

I think the 12" still looks decent enough... its not high-end, but I think will be good enough to make a nice looking set of 4 figures.

I agree. Sixty bucks isn't a bargain, but it's better than what some other companies charge for their crap. I can also handle every other month and working lights for the proton backs.:chew

These are the best pics I've seen of the head sculpt on Ray, from action-figure.com:

So will the 12" guys come with ghosts too?

releasing one every other month sounds cool ithink, gives ppl with limited funds a chance to get 1 then save up for the next 1 rather then releasing all 4 of the guys at once, great idea i think! whats everyone else think??

im more curious about the bodys now. i wonder if they will be as cool as the hot toys type bodys?
