NICE job on the elbow pads Astro Zombie! A much needed improvement! If you make more, I'd be interested in a pair!

Waaaay cool job on the ribbon cable!!! Haven't taken mine out of the box yet, so I hadn't checked the cable. Well done dude!

Thanks for the kind words guys! This is my altered pack with the new cable and a few other small changes

Also I'm putting this guide together to help people achieve screen accuracy with simple little tweaks. Its also what I'm going to be using to showcase my kits.

wow that repaint on the head made such a HUGE difference! and i like the weathering on the pack, trap and ecto goggles! how??

I´m happy to see the people improve the mattel figures. I think the base is good for customize. I need this ray stanz figure and those customs are the way to follow.

Great job Astro_zombie with the investigation for a screen accurate outfit and thanks for the advice about the changes

Good repaint and distressed work ironmann. I have in mind get one of those heads from Spencer or Vartal.

wow that does look cool mate!! nd yeah after looking at alot of stills frm the film their flightsuits aredarker, slightly thenwhat mattel did arent they?! mattel did them too creamy coloured.

altho in the movie they are not too dark tho r they. i might watch it again tonite hehe.

ill tryget sum ritt off the net as i dnt thinkl anywhere sells it near me. which 1 did u use??

and did u take any pics of the sleeve with the no ghost logo ?

I used RIT pearl gray, and the arm patch was completely unaffected.

In the first film, the lighting, as it often does, makes the suits seem to be either darker or lighter. However, they are referred to in the film as "The boys in gray".

yep ur right mate about them reffered to as the boys in gray!

i agree aswel, the lighting sucks alot of the time as you cant tell if its creamer/lighter or darker/grayer. your suit looks cool tho mate.

ive never done any dying b4 realy of that standard so id guess if u wanted to dye it grey but alighter grey then ud leave it in the water for less time right/? the darker grey u want it, you leave it in longer ??

ans was it cold water with the ritt in u soaked em on, then rinsed with hot water?

Dyed it in hot water, rinsed it in cold.

Dye can be tricky, but once you get the hang of it, its really not that hard. You can use less dye to achieve a lighter color, more dye to get a darker result.

I was going for the way that Stantz's suit looks after they catch Onionhead (Slimer) at the hotel, and they're talking to the hotel manager.

yeah thats cool then mate, ill get hold of some of that dye then and have a go. like we both said, the mattel suit was too light and ithink every1 has said so.

but yeah ill have ago at that method. thanks for the tips.

and yeh rays suit does look grey more so in that scene.
