This piece may just inspire me to start off a Palpatine focus. I already have enough figures of the old geezer. This piece, while not the most notable, has a very esoteric quality to it.

I have a pic with a piece of paper up to give you an idea of height. This is pretty mush straight on and the paper is at the bottom where its standing

Have we gotten a word on the price of this thing yet? I know at TF and SDCC they had little signs saying the price and estimated shipping date of the item.

Hmmm... its cooler looking than I thought it would be. But I think price will be the big decider on this one. And I have a feeling its gonna be in the $50 range which might be a passeroo

Looks awesome to me, and the height seems to be pretty close to being accurate. At $50, I'll order one.

It'll be either a neat stand-alone piece or if a two-pack of Nute & his pal come out it'll work great or until that time simply placed beside a walking Darth Maul would be effective.

Either way it's another sure bet for us 1/6 SS SW collectors.:chew

Best of luck with the OT path--- at this point I'm happy to gather both.
Now space is going to be an issue shortly--- I guess other stuff is going to have to go back into storage.

When it comes to dropping $60-$400 per high end item (12", RAH, PF) I can't do it on a set of 3 movies I only thought were "OK." Some will slip in, Jango, I'm sure some Anakin or Palpatine PT piece, and of course Animated Clone Wars (only EU/PT things I really love) but in the end that's too much money to drop on a series of films that, though I liked a lot, don't resonate with me completely. OT is forever to me, so the money is justifiable. PT is VERY pick and choose. It's really not that hard, most of the time. But again, would you drop $60-$400 on things from a set of films you thought were good, but not amazing? Just replace PT with a set of movies you felt were just alright, and than say "Would I drop that kind of money on stuff from them?" That's where I'm coming from on it. BUT when I see some cool crap like a RAH Jango or Grevious PF, it does get hard.

I don't buy anything I that doesn't come from something I like a lot. The PT I thought was quite good overall and being a SW fan I want stuff from it. I go by PT+OT=SW so for me it's all about SW.

I do unerstand where you're coming from though.
