This is the most infantile thread on this board. And that's saying alot considering Marvel and Star Wars. Either way, despite stats, all of these opinions are just that, opinions.
You have no idea what sports is about. WOW...
Passionate fans have passionate feelings. Loving one's sports team is important to that individual. It's like family. They stick up for it, because they feel the need to. It's an extension of who they are. By that I mean, everything you live and view important to you, makes you, you. Unique. If we all liked the same thing and felt the same way about stuff, as Sprig said, it would make for a pretty bland and boring place.
Seriously, all you do is _____ in here. At least this is not fiction. So yeah, please don't compare the real world to fictional ones.
Politics and religion also get people heated and passionate, but we're not allowed to discuss those topics on the forum for good reason. Sports is a close second to politics and religion, which is 1a and 1b.
_____ing and moaning about it multiple times (while in the process of putting us down) makes you a hypocrite, and a small person. If you don't like it. Get out. This isn't the first time you made this argument. Hopefully it will be the last, because frankly nobody wants to hear it.
However, if you want to discuss all things hockey, you can. Just leave the name calling and badgering with your childhood, which is in the past. Here's hoping.
