You got your season tickets again for this upcoming Jets season?

Uhhh yeah, we are signed to a multiyear contract with True North, and the seats are registered to my name (a total of 4), so oui. We'll have those seats for life. As an account seat holder (which I am), you are down for those seats for the length of the contract. It ranges anywhere from 3-5 years. We just finished year one. Once the contract is up, we are given first chance to renew. And rightfully so. As a result, you think I'll let some douche have my seats? Heck no! Jets season ticket holder for life! It's been almost a decade now that I have had season tickets through True North. :rock

That's awesome man! I'm sure it must be pretty cheap out there...I'm just imagining that season tickets for the crappy Leafs are probably like $10k for 1 season. Disgusting! :monkey4

We're actually the 2nd most expensive NHL city for season tickets I heard. I always thought it was the Rangers who were the most expensive. Either way, full season tickets in the upper bowl at MTS Centre for one seat is 2,500. 6,500 for the best seat in the house. :slap

Adam Oates is the Caps new head coach. Not sure how I feel about this, loved him as a player but not sure if he can handle a brat like Alex.

5th straight coach with zero NHL head coaching exp. Awesome.

Yeah, well, he was one of the most brilliant players. This could work. Dan Blysma was a coach with no NHL experience and he won a Stanley Cup and a Jack Adams with us.

And stop your whining! Your team had the best draft day in the 1st round. George McPhee went into awesome mode!

Joe Sakic, Pavel Bure, Adam Oates and Mats Sundin to the HOF. No gripes with any of these picks, though I'm surprised Shanny didn't get the nod this year.

Capitals are looking sexy.... Their picks, the trade... the star power. I know I say it every year, but this team should go far. They just need the right coach to get them to see the winning light.

That's a good list? I haven't heard of any of those players. Sound like a bunch of scrubs... ECHL career fodder.

I know. I was holding out hope for Ken Wregget, Jim Paek, Kevin Stevens and Shawn McEachern.

On a serious note, Pat Burns snubbed again, WTF?

Hey, Kevin Stevens is a two-time 50 goal scorer. *Had the record for most points by a left winger with a 123 (54g, 69a)*, and won two Stanley Cups. One year leading all NHLers in goals with 17 in the post season.

*Mind you, the record was broken a year later by Luc Robitaille (125 points).

And he loved his Coca-Cola... yes, that Coke...

And as for Ken Wregget. I loved him as a goalie! Sure, he wasn't pretty, but he got the job done when needed and played nearly 600 NHL games for a reason. My love for him was probably amplified due to the fact he was a Wing, a Penguin, and a Moose. Three teams I care(d) a great deal for.

Pat Burns deserves to get in the Hall. Should have been an automatic given what he went through, and was still a major success in his field.

P.S. You jerk! Think I didn't see what you did there... all former Penguin players. Me, being a Penguin fan and all. How can you forget Ulf Samuelsson??? ;)

So apparently any hockey fan in the know, is aware that Sidney Crosby attended the Stanley Cup Final games to scout, close watch on perspective and potential line mate of the future, Zach Parise. Apparently both sides have discussed the desire to play together.

Imagine this as a top six for the Pittsburgh Penguins if that came into fruition.

Line 1a:

Zach Parise-Sidney Crosby-Pascal Dupuis

Line 1b:

Chris Kunitz-Evgeni Malkin-James Neal

Line 3:

Steve Sullivan-Brandon Sutter-Tyler Kennedy

SEXY!!!

The above would be sick, just need to shore up the D and get a goalie who keeps his eyes open, cuz apparently MAF closes them when playing :)
