Nhl Playoffs 2008 !!!!!

it's all academic eli. you'll have a hard time finding anything fun out of detroit's dominance this year. unless you're a detroit fan.

hehe I am a Wings fan, so I would be excited if this was any other team but my Pens. However, that isn't the case. My hockey collection is split up between Wings and Pens merchandise.. btw A lot of my Wings merchandise even predates their 1997 Cup win. So I am definitely not a bandwagon jumper. Anyone who knows me, knows I love both teams. My three favorite forwards: Lemieux, Francis, and Yzerman. Favorite dman: Konstantinov. Favorite coach: Bowman, who coached both teams.

I just so happen to love my Penguins more is all... this is supposed to be the funnest series of all-time for me.. So far I have been greatly disappointed. I miss the old Caps/Pens playoff series and the Wings/Avs... when Claude Lemieux was an Av... and it was Crawford and Bowman behind the bench. Now those were some series!

Sorry, but you love ONE team and can sort of like others due to players etc, but I can't be a real FAN of more than one team.

No I do support one team... it's always been the Pens. However, if the Pens didn't do anything and the Wings went further, I would root for them. People have more than one team they follow. It does happen you realize. I do however, only have one all-out favorite.

I need the Pens to win.... don't be an ass Fitso. A fan has a right to root for more than one team. But I cleary have a team I favour more than any other. So I am no different than you in that respect. You are all about the Caps being Champs one day. I am all about the Pens being Champs. However, if they have to lose to anyone, I am glad it's to Detroit. This is just a coincidence that this season it's two teams I really love. Look, I wanted this series to happen for 15 years. Back in 1993, my local paper and Bob McKenzie had a Red Wings and Penguins Final. It ended up being the LA Kings and Canadiens.

Either way, get off your high horse. Don't beat me down just because my top two teams are duking it for the biggest prize in all of hockey.

And I am a Wings fan because of Yzerman and Konstantinov, who were players. Guess since I followed that team so long I had invested interest in the team. Hard to break old habbits.

Further more, I should add I am a Manitoba Moose fan as well. Hark! I like three teams now! I am so bad! How can I love more than one team?

I have his Team Canada game worn jersey. One of the pics I saw on an international website is the actual jersey I own. He even signed it.. got the socks with the jersey as well. I even got a thumbs up from him when he saw that I was wearing it during a break in a game. I was sitting in the first row. He was one of the top prospects for the NHL Vancouver Canucks.

i think i may put an additional play on detroit in game 5. the number may be huge but it seems like the wings will close out the pens at home. pitt has scored 4 goals in 4 games. no reason to think the pens will solve detroit in game 5.
