Dammit, missed the fireworks.

Anyway, watched the BSP... Vader looks cool against the Stormtrooper.

Comment for BSP producers: please use the camera you're shooting with for close-ups instead of dissolving to the proto pics. I wanna see the figures on the stage.

Unless this body is another floppy pro, as Indy is from what I've read, I don't see disappointment with this figure. This is the exact version of Vader I want, I can't wait to place him with ANH Ben!

If Sith Anakin atop his pedastal thingee will fit in a Detolf I am sure Vader will have no problem.

Predators and even the Aliens (slightly hunched over) fit, so I think we'll be safe with Vader.

I'm still getting this one though...No way am I passing on Darth Freakin' Vader...

I guess I'd have to see a side-by-side comparison to apreciate the differences between the films.

But ANH introduced us to the character, so that's the version I'd prefer.

Hell yeah. Two things stood out to me from the OT that to this day are collecting passions of mine, Vader helmet revelation and Jedi Spirits. Figures, dios, anything capturing those gets my attention instantly.

Ok, so oddball question: is there an official Cannon reason for why Vader looks different in ANH than all the other movies, including ROTS?

I still wonder why ROTS did not look more like the ANH version than it did...

Too true. I had always hoped that ROTS Vader would have looked like the Mcquarrie proto one myself....

As far as I know, there's no story explanation for his costuming being different in all 4 films he appears in.
