I wonder if his helmet will be removeable...

I know that the description lists faceplate and helmet but I still want to see pics. (shrug)

I'm on the fence about this figure personally.

No, the helmet is not removable.

Like the picture, but who's the guy on the right??? Seriously, who is that? Looks like no one I've seen in any of the SW movies wearing that uniform. And I agree with Natrix, Vader helmet might be a tat to small.
But yes, Vader and a couple of stormies definitely make a rock hard display.

such a nice picture.
can't wait to get my stormtroopers, just to calm me down..

I don't see how anyone can be on the fence. If you like Vader and collecti 1/6 figures, it's a no brainer.

I haven't seen any in-hand pics yet (ok, I know noone has it yet but you know what I mean) and while the lack of removeable helmet is not a product killer, I would expect that for the price, the helmet WOULD be removeable even if it wasn't an ROTJ style helmet.

Don't get me wrong, Vader was always my favorite SW character and all-around favorite villain, but when I think of his helmet, the ROTJ three piece is what comes to my mind.

I'm working on a custom figure that has multiple heads. One is just the helmet and has a non-removeable G.I. Joe head inside, once the other helmet is done, it will be removeable and I'll be able to insert my sebastian shaw or crispy anakin head..

It's funny, Piett almost looks too small next to Vader, but then looking over, he does't seem too small next to a Stormie, Vader's got to be huge.

This is the ANH version. I'm sure we will get a Jedi, ESB and ROTS versions later.

They're also further back.

Also, Vader's helmet looks a bit off-kilter... funny.

Well, I'm sure someone might complain. I really wish Sideshow would shoot figures together more often, it's nice to have an idea of how they look interacting with others.

Yeah, I think they really are trying to show these guys off. They know they have a good thing on there hands.

What nice is seeing him with other figures helps Vader's proportions look better. He seems a bit wide in solo shots, looked better in SDCC images, but now this one really looks nice.
