According to Enterbay at Facebook, he mention that this maybe a "Battle Damaged" version, he said will post some picture soon, Great News & can't wait how it will look like after YJ paint it as battle damaged....:rotfl

Pfft...as evidenced by what? Please elaborate. I love the phrase, "hadsculpt's likeness is kinda off IMO." with nothing to back it.

Well glad to know you love the phrase, refer to post #96 on the 'Hot Toys... More Bruce Lee Coming' thread by Wookster where I said why, but for your convenience Ill state what I said again:

"The headsculpt looks slightly off, slightly. Somewhere near the jawline and chin... looks kinda like Bruce only from certain angles"

BTW the neutral headsculpt has only been shown from side angles never a FULL FRONTAL pic unlike the cheeky smile, so its even more difficult to draw a conclusion on its likeness...

From the movie

Arnie Kim's Etd A repaint Nokia GoD Sculpt Custom BD'd (notice the jawline and chin)

YJ Park Sculpt at same profile (no battle damage added at the moment)

It looks good, but we need a price and what it comes with. I thought they were going to announce that this weekend.

Like always, they did not, just released pics of what we have seen already.

They both look great overall, but the lighting on Arnie's is more accurate to the picture of Bruce.

I just have to show you this conversation i had with a guy on youtube:lol

Video showing the po pics.

Me
The clean and battle damaged sculpts look like 2 separate people.. the clean one looking like Bruce the other..not so much ..the body is way to flexed..so in relaxed poses he would look strange ..i will buy this figure 4 sure but i will be displaying him with the sneaking suit and clean sculpt..but i do hope they tone down that body and fix that second sculpt as id like each piece of the figure to be perfect.

Idiot
so ur one of the reason why they toned the body big time to a skinnier soft body huh! IF U LIKE SKINNIER N SOFTER GO GET KEN FROM BARBIE DOLL!!

Me
.... i guess there had to be a few idiots who liked it how it was, I'm truly so sorry that you won't have the over defined bruce lee figure you were hoping for.

Idiot
we r talking about a toy here, a toy supposed to be muscular not skinny like olive oil...and dont apologize coz u made hot toy listened to u guys who dont like muscles lmao

In fact let's compare the likeness to the picture I posted

As you can see YJ's is pulling a slightly different expression

well you mean a more clenched jaw one? Hmm It tends to have that resemblance but unfortunately it will be wrong to jump to that conclusion unless we get a full frontal pic of the headsculpt like the picture you are using as your reference :)

Wow that is amazing, this really is a win win situation for BL fans. Enterbay seem to have really raised there game on this figure & they had to with HT but I much prefer this body to the HT one because there's no joints showing, obviously articulation is going to be sacrificed but that doesn't bother me because I want him to look real as possible what but do guys prefer HT Body or EB

As much as EB's body looks great, with all my previous encounters with full Rubber bodies, I will have to say I prefer Vinyl/ABS Plastic bodies. They last longer, MUCH less hassle in maintaining. Also if you have any experience with other Enterbay Bruce Lee's you will know that Enterbay's clothes with darker dyes eg Black, Blue etc etc permanently stain the bodies. This is a fact that Enterbay themselves state on their care instructions and this is considered to be normal. Now start imagining your rubber body, already sticky from the heat and changes of moisture in the atmosphere, picking up lots of dust and sticking them on, PLUS the Black stripes on this figure becoming a permanent part of the body, and you will see why I shy away from this one inspite of how it looks

also in all probability posability will take a BIG beating, a Bruce Lee, that too Game of Death with battle damaged, standing in a not so characteristic dynamic pose, also Its the Game of Death figure, so for this specific figure I dunno if anyone will want to display him without his jumpsuit, so hiding all the joints is kina lost when the jumpsuit covers everything up... Hmm HT for me... more posabilty, easier to maintain, and frankly Im sure it will look good on display and the joints wont make it ugly, I mean c'mon Enterbay's BL elbows didnt look very realistic too... So I dont see any point in hating HT's BL body... :)

I am just not gonna worry about it anymore, whoever is offereing the best Bruce, that company is getting my money. Enterbay is letting me down big time, Hot Toys is impressing me more and more with every release.

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't hate the HT body, I actually really like it but I just like this one a little more from the pictures so far may be I'll feel differently if in hand but I haven't ever owned an EB 1/6 figure but I had been looking on ebay at the Jet Li & BL's before HT announced there version of the later but they were way to expensive for me. So EB actually say that there cloths will stain the body, how do they get away with that, crazy.

Yeah early on it was never mentioned, but as people started noticing this, and lots of people tried lots of stuff, but the stuff seemed pretty permanent.
Enterbay replied to anxious queries by saying that its a normal reaction for the bodies to be stained by the clothes if they are in contact for long. Nowdays they mention this in the care section of any product you buy eg The Stock BL bodies all have this phenomenon listed as one of the natural things to expect. My FoF figure has stains from the black socks, the blue kung fu suit and so on, anything with dark dyes...

That is inevitable. My FoF and Kato were stained like crazy, but only the areas that were in contact with black cloth. I upgraded the FoF to a BL 3.5 and it also got stained with time. The thing is, you have to live with it. As soon as you get the figure, choose the cloth you want to display it with and leave it as is.

The Hot Toys sneaking suit will probably stain the body, so I am not going to put that suit on on the rubber body. I guess Ill get a regular trutype for that.
