I don't see why Enterbay can't use a black dye that wont stain the body, how freaking hard can that be? That is one of the big flaw in my Nokia GOD Bruce. ____ is annoying.
Also, Hot Toys has never stained the body that I recall so don't go saying they will.

There was some talk early on that the body was just a form study and would be articulated further down the line. This we now know is not the case and the body will be seamless and rubber. The more I see of this body in poses that do nothing to convince the collector that the fingers, elbows and shoulders will hold up to more dynamic posing, the more I am confident that this figure will be very pretty to look at - so long as it's just standing there.

EB may yet pull something out of the bag and surprise us all - but it's not looking good on the what we're seeing to date.

Is it just me, or is everyone comparing the EB sculpt to the vertically squeezed footage/screencap from a poor transfer?

The biggest difference between Arnie's version vs YJ's, is the length of the face, and it's the main reason why YJ's version looks off.

For example, take a look at the photos of Bruce from magazine covers. There are no aspect ratio distortion like the screencaps. Notice his face is much longer on the magazine covers than compared to YJ's sculpt or compared to the poorly converted footage/screencaps that has been frequently referenced to in this thread.

But accuracy aside, both are very lifelike sculpts.

I agree, I mentioned that a while back, but it seems everyones too busy comparing this sculpt with arnie's :lol

The thing is the face looks a bit short, although its accurate to that pic, the camera sort of distorts and squats bruce's face a bit.

Man...In this hobby,Bruce Lee fans are the most spoiled ones, even I am starting to think enough is enough :lol

Enterbay is going down fast. The chaos from the Storm Warriors line, sub par Yip Man and the horrible Legend of the Fist figure.

Enterbay CEO Bill had written a rant article on his Sino blog, he admit how crappy the paint job and finishing their figures are and he personally think the quality are totally unacceptable (from Storm Warrior to Legend of the Fist) and blaming everyone but himself for this. Funny :cuckoo:

well at least hes being realistic and honest bout the quality of the product. Gotta give him some credit for that :lol

Maybe its time for the "ultimate merger" with Hot Toys :wink1:

It's good that he is being honest about crappy finished products, but as the CEO of Enterbay...it is so wrong to point fingers at his employees in public,he is the CEO,take some responsibility.

Did I mention this EB BL will cost around $250 :panic: or will they lower the price because of HT?

250 if you're lucky! Breakers is talking about a healthy list of accessories that includes an impressive diorama... it's a new Bruce and a newly developed body...I predict little change, if any, out of $350.

:exactly:

"The headsculpt looks slightly off, slightly. Somewhere near the jawline and chin... looks kinda like Bruce only from certain angles"

BTW the neutral headsculpt has only been shown from side angles never a FULL FRONTAL pic unlike the cheeky smile, so its even more difficult to draw a conclusion on its likeness...

:wink1:

Hey you got a link to this? Id really like to read it, specially with the Ip Man figure having loose joints like that, id like to see what he says in that article (hope its translated in english though :wink1:) also its surprising that being a CEO he can blame his employees, its his professional responsibility and obligation to take responsibility for faulty/below quality products :dunno

I can believe this will cost 250$,mainly because of the wooden diorama. The difference between HT and EB is the dioramas,HT's are just simple thin plastic or cardboard while EB's so far have been pure wood.

The FoF was $320 and had 2 heads, 2 outfits, a bunch of hands, a pair of nunchucks, 3 hairs, a stand, 1 body, a wooden diorama, a wooden board, and the big box it came in (shipping).

I don't think it will be any lower than that. But personally, if they want to compete with Hot Toys, they are going to think about pricing their figures.

Enterbay and Medicom, specially Medicom, kind of get carried away with prices. Look at the new Luke from their UU merger, it's $300. I dont care much for Star Wars figures, but that is just ridiculous; even more as the sculpt is way off.

Yeah use an open mouth pic and an unclenched jaw pic to prove your point.
There is no aspect ratio distortion in my screen caps as the film was in 2.35:1. I have already posted the full video to prove I did not distort anything

Actually if you want to see how different Bruce's face shape can change check this out.
