You forgot, "Stickin' it to da man!" :lol

I did. Had a MAD Magazine confiscated and it was stolen in the 7th grade. I owned up to being the catalyst for it though and wasn't a ********* who thought to one-up the teacher with some "inappropriate" lesson. Same thing happened in high school when I got busted during SSR for having a Fangoria magazine tucked inside of a Business Weekly. Guess the ponytail and Iron Maiden jacket were a dead giveaway. :lol

Pictures, please! :1-1:

teachers should be using the rulers the way they did back in my dads day, and they weren't for measuring.

You can say that again. This is what happens when there are no real deterrents in punishment. Don't remember kids shooting up schools cuz they were picked on when I was a kid. Hell even adults can't handle getting picked on anymore. It'd be funny if it was so pathetic. People have no idea how to cope with anything any more:slap

I wish I had a hat. I bet Matt Damon has all the hats he could ever want, and then some.

I have this awesome Fox racing cap I've had since high school, found it in the teacher's drawer. Sometimes I wonder what happened to the poor sod who never got it back.

You'd have to track down a high school yearbook, fortunately. And that would all depend on whether or not I was attending on picture day. :lol

So you skipped school also. Hope you took responsibility and made up for the work and lessons you missed.

So you're the one who ruined my future.:lol

Wasn't even my best score. You shoulda seen this sweet discman I picked up from my old man back in '87 (he was a vice-principal at some weiner school) - musta been worth $370! I sometimes wonder what happened to that guy too.

Actually I did, a LOT. I even dropped out but when I got a GED so pathetically easy, I enrolled back into independent studies and got a real diploma because I was ashamed by the GED (it was so pathetically easy, I didn't even have to study for the test). If I'd known then what I know now, I would've stayed in school, actually applied myself more and gotten someone else (via scholarships) to pay for college instead of having to bust my ass to pay for it.

Apparently he's a real life troll who really sleeps under bridges and spends his days on a government donated laptop sticking it to all the ********* sheep on toy forums. :huh

That must happen a lot since I got mine back at the end of the day.

The fact that Darth Snoopy and other who disagree with me resort to ridicule and personal attacks proves my point. The school system is about oppression the crushing of individuality, and enforcing the power structure. They seek to crush the spirit of the individual even though they might have good intentions. The fact that someone would resort to personal attacks and ridicule proves that they have much darkness in them , because you can only express something if it is in you in the first place. Because this lack of personal civility proves that there is more evil and oppressiveness that I previously believed, I now realize that this evil simply runs too deep. Alas, I had previously believed in hope, although I can't say I do now. I cannot convert it.

I don't think it proves anything other than you're reeeeeeeeeeeeally ignorant when it comes to posting about what the educational system stands for and it's purpose. But if it helps you sleep at night being uneducated, hey, more power to ya. I'd also add that your dribble is more insulting to those here who have professions in the educational system and you showed little remorse for their feelings before calling them, basically, Nazis but expected everybody to be nice to you for your insane ramblings. So again, you're a hypocrite. :wave

Pretty much this. ^^^^^^

I had a few kids like this guy/girl/kid whatever in my class. Basically, they're kids/adults who simply do not feel the rules of the world/classroom apply to them. Therefore they feel they can say and do whatever they want. They're ignorant of what actually makes the world go round because its outside the realm of themselves.

Or could it be that those who say and do what they're told are the ones who are ignorant of what actually makes the world go 'round because it's outside the realm of themselves? That's one of those. . .

We have rules for a reason in life. Granted some through the years (like Hitler) took them to the point of horrible events but most rules are good for the world and help it move along in an orderly fashion. Folks are allowed plenty of freedoms to do what they want within reason but as I said some feel none of the rules apply to them and they should get to do what they want and when they want to do it. As I said I had kids in the classroom who didn't think the freedom I did give was enough. I had to prove to them there was one ruler in my classroom and it was me. I told a few of these kids that if they thought they would win anything by bucking the rules of my classroom they would be wrong, because I didn't lose when it came to how I took care of my room and the education of the kids within that room.

So no thats not something that makes me go hmmm. Nice try though. :monkey3
