People arguing over each other's ratings is somewhat amusing. I don't mind people throwing 10/10s around. I wish I wasn't as critical of movies as those folks are.

Labyrinth - 9/10
I grew up with this movie and watch it at least once a year. I am just captivated by the simplicity of the story, the slow pace that doesn't cater to the ADD generation, bizarre characters and creatures all done with practical effects, and all of the artistic design. Jareth's character design is so cool and I think David Bowie does a good job of being menacing when he's supposed to be.

The Never Ending Story - 5/10
Never saw this as a kid. I appreciated it for being an 80s fantasy movie but I found the pace to be too slow. Atreyou needed some sidekicks to interact with instead of shouting out all of his thoughts and actions at the camera constantly. But I didn't hate it and I think if I had seen it as a child I'd have loved it.

Hmmm... Try second one, it's completely different.

Godzilla (2014) 6.5/10

All the baiting/teasing did not bother me, but the acting and script really dull the story down.
And like alot of movies these days, from time to time simple logic and common sense are no
where to be found.

Really sucks about all these mediocre reviews for it. I had high hopes for it.

Pacific Rim 7.5/10

Enjoyed this more second time around. It's better than Godzilla (2014) imo.

Godzilla is a guest star in a movie about radiation devouring rat-bugs.
Dumb science, worthless US military and annoying cinematography.

So yeah, go ahead and torture your self :lol
