Don't breathe - 6/10 Oh Hollywood, you couldn't have a movie where the bad guys were the protagonists, you had to make them relatable with a silly unbelievable plot twist.

Some cheap thrills, many cliches, that's what this was good for, I expected more.

Ouija: Origin of Evil 7/10. I'm a fan of horror but this movie was decent, they are some disturbing moments but that's about it, my biggest pet peeve is the inconsistency with the story line from the first film. Got to see it for free so can't complain

So what you're saying is that this is 2016's Ex Machina.:monkey3

Captain America: Civil War - 6/10

It was hard to get through all the shaky cam, terrible dialogue cheap drama, and subpar acting.

Spider-Man's inclusion is such a head scratcher, it's actually a flaw in the script and critics ate it up.

Overall, I think the Russos gotta go, they're better than Whedon by far, but who isn't? Personally I'd take Favreau or Gunn over the Russos.

Spider-Man a flaw?

The Incredibles (2004) - 9/10

If you're like me and haven't watched this since it was released I highly recommend revisiting it. I rented it so that my kids could see it and my daughter gave it a score of "well that was pretty much the best movie ever." Even after watching the literal entirety of the MCU, TDK trilogy, DCEU, etc., before revisiting The Incredibles I can easily say that it still holds up. The Dash forest chase was more thrilling than any live-action Quicksilver sequence.

I'd stay it doesn't only hold up, it's better than any of those.

It's not only a perfect straight up superhero story at face value, it's a perfect post-modern deconstruction (better than both BvS and CW), a perfect satire and all that film-making 101 crap.

Like if Alan Moore, during his superhero purge period had worked for Pixar.

I love that movie.

That's a favorite of my Daughter's as well, she watches it on a fairly regular basis. She used to call me Mr. incredible and came home one day (with her Mother) from the Disney Store with a Mr. incredible T-shirt for me. It was so sweet I had to oblige her.

I look forward to the sequel.
