Spider-Man a flaw?

I just feel like he had no business being in this movie. The way he’s introduced, and the way he leaves this movie feels rushed, why did Stark feel the need to recruit this teenage kid? Especially after the whole revelation he had at the beginning of the movie with that teenager dying in AOU. How did Stark know who he was again? I missed that part, then how Spidey is taken out of the movie was just as ridiculous and really only hurts Stark’s character all together. I get it was fan service, like Wolverine was in Apocalypse, but it felt really, really forced and made very little sense, it wasn’t a good way to introduce Spidey into the MCU.

Thats what I’m saying, I was excited to see him, but watching how they just through him in there actually hurts the movie, and it hurts Stark’s character. They way they included him just didn’t make much sense at all.

I think the entire movie hurts Stark's character.

He's been depicted to be pretty smart only to have nothing but bad judgment throughout the entire movie and even bow down to bureaucracy.

Yeah, I can see that...but he was no ordinary teenager. He was someone who could stop a 3000 pound car...or whatever Tony's line was. The way he leaves...yeah, it reminded me of QS in DOFP, but at least you can see how Spidey is not as valuable as QS, and Tony just wanted him to help in this one mission because he needed some last minute backup. If anything, Vision's absence in the final battle is worst because he's way more useful than Spidey.

Vision's presence in the fight is completely dumb.

He could have stopped the fight and captured Bucky in countless ways and several opportunities in a second, but he was too busy floating in cheap CGI.

True, but this is the one thing that felt like a real script problem.

I was going to mention Vision's absence as well, but the thing is, Wolverine, Prof X, and Hank actually needed real help to get Magneto out, if it weren't for QS, some of them wouldn't have made it out.

Tony hires a street level unknown for a fight he has nothing to do with, couldn't he have just brought in some extra armors that he can control? Why not wear the Hulk buster to have full advantage of the fight? Cap's team had Bucky, and Hawkeye, one of Iron Man's armors could have certainly kept them busy in a fight. There's just so many more things Tony could have done then bring some kid in that he didn't even know, blackmail him into a fight, and blackmail him out of one.

How did Tony know who he was by the way? I missed that part.

You think movie Vision is strong enough to do that? Like most MCU characters, he seems weak.
He split a bus in half by just standing there.

I would just phase through everything directly to Bucky, grab him and fly away, but I'm not as smart as a self-aware AI.

Or disable the Quinjet before they can even reach it, btw I don't how how IM doesn't have a remote command to do that himself, that's at the top of my head.

You guys, there's a reasonable explanation for all of it and I can easily explain it...OH LOOK WHAT'S THAT!!!!!

I actually laughed out loud with that response :lol

But wait, does this movie ever explain how Stark knows about Spidey? It was hard for me to give the movie my full attention so I figured I missed it.

Quick! Follow that car!

It doesn't, but it's ok that one, if Stark doesn't know how to use use youtube that would be the end of it.

I meant like how did he know that Spidey was Peter Parker. Did he track him home or something?
